An English Whippet we had was a good 'guard' dog :) he was small, but very agile, and could leap high and bite at the same time...he defended the house very well.
You should import some Red Tiger Bulldogs from the USA. They are about 50 kg of pure muscle and about 66 cm tall once grown, their bite force is nothing to scoff at, plus they have lock jaw so once they get a hold of someone they are not letting go anytime soon. They are big babies and very loving with family and young children. They are also good with other, family, pets. But, don't let their playful and gentle nature fool you...they can turn on a dime if they sense danger and they have no issue tearing someone a new asshole. Plus, their coloring is beautiful hence the name Red Tiger Bulldog. They are a relatively new breed of bulldog...about 20 years old. I own one and he is one of the best dogs that I've had in my life. I think this breed would be a good addition to your guard dog "collection" since they are originally bred for protection. If you are interested, check out Red Tiger Bulldogs on UA-cam :)

Obviously one who is going to quit if the bad guy comes at him with some form of defense is worthless as a working dog. This is a video showing that - You have no evidence to say whether or not these dogs are obedient, and neither do I. However I think based on what I have seen, these are fabulously minded animals with tons of drive. That in itself is hard to get sometimes.
Отказывайте в тренировках владельцам питубулей и прочих терьеров. Нельзя обучать питбулей, стаффордов и прочих терьеров против человека. Это не охранные породы с непредсказуемой психикой. Не заводите эти породы от греха подальше.
Наверное потому что это ни из питомника откуда то собаки, это личные собаки, а хозяин видимо собаку не больно гоняет, хочешь на диване поваляйся, хочешь косточку погрызи ) Ну это я так, грубо.
