Jesse Guzik i mean hes not phenomenal by deffinition but he is good and hes getting better. Just in the last year ive seen his live perfomance improve dramaticly. The ugly lady from american idol now she had a phenomenal voice. That was unbelievable. Tillian singing, ill give him this much to be able to scream and transition to clean vocals is very impressive.

My interpretation on the meaning: I feel like what he's trying to day is that he used to be in a relationship with someone he really liked. They're not together anymore and they distanced a bit, things were said and heartbreak came along. They're kind of acting like what they had was non-existant, but their love isn't non-existant. Time is passing by quite quickly and he really misses her. He thought that she'd stay with him, with all the care he had for her. He's wondering if it's too late to get back together and start over again. She was the reason he had hung on when times were tough in his life. He showed that he was worth staying with, and that he needed her. He tries to move on but he can't. He still wants her back, and believes the problems can be fixed.
