"Shocker" - One of Wes Craven's underrated gems. I remember wishing this one would have gotten more love when it was out back in the day. Here's hoping more people discover and appreciate it!
I also have to add that the soundtrack is epic and I own a Shocker t-shirt with Horace in sitting in the chair, used to have matching orange socks but some thief took off with them!
Shocker reminds me of ANOES and Deadly Friend. Mitch Pileggi gives an insanely brilliant performance as Horace Pinker. Not one of my favourite films from Craven but well worth at least one viewing.
Shocker is fun AF. Horace Pinker is the man, right behind Jason and my favorite, Matt Cordell aka The Maniac Cop. Btw, if don't remember, have y'all covered The Horror Show, later shoehorned in as House 3? Max Janke is another level of Horace Pinker, played by the late great Brion James. Also, in the same vein as those 2 is Destroyer with Lyle Alzado as Ivan Mozer. It also stars Anthony Perkins as a movie director.
Randomly found this digging through a buddy I was crashing on their couch’s DVDs years ago. Fun movie! I was _shocked_ I hadn’t seen it before then. …I’ll see myself out.
Its a snippet from the full video discussing this movie: ua-cam.com/video/vcxaAy7PoHQ/v-deo.html Posted to accumulate more views and likes. I know that youtube is making it hard to get noticed when covering 'sensitive material' like horror movies, but I doubt this strategy.
I loved this movie when it came out and have watched it several more times in the ensuing years. A masterpiece which deserves cult-classic status, but for some reason hasn't really achieved it.

I love the longer episodes. That feels like I'm hanging with friends talking movies. Well keep up the good work as always.
Agree. It’d be cool if they went live with chat and all that. It’d definitely help that community vibe.
Give him mouth to mouth scene always gets me

Power Edit Idea: Every single time John mentions 'Remains of the Day' 👌

Those are both worth a look.
