- We'll say it again. Bikes are part of the family. You wouldn't leave your dog on the back of your van, so why would you do it with your bikes? In this video, Dana shows how we built a slideout bike tray for our expedition truck so that our bikes can be stored safe from the weather and theft. We built the first version of this tray for our van, but it's useable in a truck, SUV, or other large vehicle.

awesome! what was the total size of your door cutout in the rig?
its 39 tall by 42 wide, but I recommend building the tray, mounting the bikes and then measuring.
What are the screw sizes to attache the slide
We used 3/4 inch length #6 screws
