I'd say No, Not a great beginner's bike. Maybe the Rnine T upright position would be easier? or the F800 R, G 310 R or F800 GT are all great first BMW's.
Red seat looks comfy though, have you done any serious distance yet? Just bought a nine t racer and furthest ridden is 10 yards from the bmw delivery van to my back shed. Looking to do NC500 scotland trip and wondered what shape i will be in at the end... ive got a friend who is a good osteopath!!
