+FacheChanteDeux I agree. There is an unpredictable nature about him. I'm not saying he is a show winner, just has the whole house fearing, liking and uneasy round him. Interesting to watch.

I love how this is meant to be a twist when in reality, they knew bear would always be nominated, so rather than having almost half of noms go to him, they did this.
Great thinking! I wondered why bb would risk Bear like this; channel 5 were bound to try to save him for at least a little while as he guarantees drama and interest, so when they did this I was shocked. But you're right. They couldn't give him immunity (like they did Helen Wood), as it would be too obvious. This was actually a brilliant tactic, it creates the illusion of impartiality and fairness from bb, creates enmity in the group and ensures that Bear has at least two other housemates up against him for eviction (likely Heavy D, Saira or James this coming week), giving him a better chance for survival. And here I was slating bb for no creativity...

The other housemates don't get a chance to shine because of Bear, if he went, they would get more airtime, he's the definition of trash, not entertaining at all.

I haven't figured out who I like yet so far this series but I do seem to like Bear. He seems to be the most real to me but again I don't really know who he is though.
This reminds me of all the contestants ganging up on Jason very similar. They are hanging up on Bear they know he is popular with the public.

The reason the housemates hate Bear is cause they know he's a threat and takes up a lot of air time. You go in the house to be entertaining, the rest of the housemates are boring. If he wasn't there no one would be talking about this season of CBB.
