Great time to be traveling to and importing from Japan rather than China though I predict a devaluation is on the horizon for the Chinese Yuan as well. Not just because they need to stay competitive as the world's largest goods exporter but because the yen naturally leads the yuan and the charts looking ready to breakout

They seem to overlook the fact that the US Currency has lost all actual support.
The process of selling equal amounts of Treasury Notes,
for all FED Notes printed,
has been covered up by paying for Treasury Notes with FED Dollars.
That is simply not honest support.

The yen. It's 158 now
It's May the 5th, 2024 and I was stationed in Misawa, Japan while in the Air Force from 2009-2013. I remember exchange rates @ roughly 76-85 to the USD!! The military was giving us an extra $2-400 per paycheck depending on the exchange rate for that pay period. Oh how times have changed..
