  • As the Yen weakens there isn't much the Japanese government can do to stop it short of intervening, says Adam Button, chief currency analyst, Forexlive. As for the U.S. dollar, much of the world doesn't want to see it get any stronger, says Button.

    We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! every day we encounter challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.

      Keeping some gold is usually a wise decision. You would be better off keeping away from equities for a bit or, even better, seeking advice from an expert given the current market conditions and everything that is at risk with the current economy.

      You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst

      No use. The circulation of wealth is already too dry... ... You can sell, but with what to sustain the existing volume?
      The same with US, and yeah... ... alongside with RMB and other currencies all doing the same trying to boost themselves, but... ... Hehehehehehehehehehe... ...
      You will start finding your treasuries weaker and weaker and weaker and empty... ... alongside with shocking level of losses.
      The god, me, had offered another prospect, another choice... ... but in all those good years... ...
      ... you hissed at and slapped the god.
      Do you think it will be so simple? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha... ...
      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... ...
      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... ...
      All your investments, derivatives, fixed assets which many derive loans and bonds and accounting from... ... are laying on a destroying base.
      It took GOD a couple of decades to transform everything... ... everything, linked up all, everything made into a huge huge tulip... ...
      While you all enjoy the numbers, you will never realize shorting or buying or whatever will not change the vaporization.
      Mortals use wealth to play gods... ... the gods simply first... ... do away with that, not to destroy you, but to teach you all a lesson, before the recycling.
      Ceteris Paribus, to explain... ... Japen will weaken its yen to try survive in a polarized world, if trade agreements will even stick to itself... ... it will need to trade, invest and seek derivatives with partners; using China, but China's fixed asset situation is the same with Japan, and even US... ... RMB will go down, demand saturated and supplies overboard... ...
      So, trading balance cannot be reached, each cannot be depending on the other to secure itself, and worse... ... ...
      Figure out yourselves.
      What do you think each economy will try to do next? Hee hee hee hee hee hee... ...
      But whichever way they proceed, the wealth will start suddenly vaporizing.
      Expand this, letting the complication level rises to the full truth of the real world... ... you are finished. Because in this, the gods actually holds the control 'stick' which all your wealth are 'relative to'.
      And all we need to do, is to turn the stick at whichever directions that best fit the script.
      Even TCM or Nvidia.... ... AI... ... you have to have money to make things roll for them, even if they are the hottest of assets or financial development, but... ...
      ...you will be so dry... ...
      For instance, China and middle east wealth will seek to exploit gold, converting into transaction of numbers, but what is gold... ... ... Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee... ...
      See?

    Did he start by saying "The US dollar looking strong with inflation staying high"?
    I mean I know he means because high inflation decreases rate hike chance which he thinks means strong dollar but just sit back and think about the statement. High inflation means the dollar's losing value in terms of real goods and services. The yen's just losing it faster.
    It's almost as ridiculous as continuing to call the 10 year US treasury yield the "risk-free" rate as the US government approaches insolvency.

    Japan wants inflation. By letting their Yen tank, imports become more expensive for Japanese consumers. This is win/win for the BoJ. Japan imports a bit of inflation and it's exports are more competitive.
    Japanese officials will pay lip service to their complaining voters, but they will allow the situation to continue.

    • @othinustouma5769
      @othinustouma5769 Місяць тому

      inflation cause by import is always a bad thing for it usually leads to stagflation . inflation caused by more demand, more foreign exchange, more loans or not enough currency is sometimes good

    • @john_doe_not_found
      @john_doe_not_found Місяць тому

      @@othinustouma5769 True, but after 30 years of waiting for inflation, beggars can't be choosers.
      When you lose 500 - 800,000 people per year, it is very hard to generate inflation across all sectors. Health care and end of life care inflation is easy, but the rest gets hard.
      At least, I think that is the BoJ logic for the next little while.

  • @user-og2ne4bi8w
    @user-og2ne4bi8w Місяць тому

    Actually the answer is very obvious... ... but it is beyond mortals.
    From now on, textbook economics and whatever ends, the gods' games take over, and the complication level.... ... goes to the top.
    My habit of fore-warning... ... as a god. It is fun... ... to see smarties playing gods, ending up "Oh, what the f... ... no one can expect that coming... ..."
    And a huge funny mess.
    Many will see much much wealth vaporized overnight, even in fixed deposits... ...
    No why... ... the crushing comes directly at where you fixed your wealth... ... Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee... ...
    War is not just bullets and soldiers... ... there are a lot in it. Enjoy.
    Because down this road of 'mechanism' of the gods, it will be WWIII nuclear.
    Unless of course... ... 3 major powers will sacrifice, self destroy their coffer for the world... ... Without all their absorption of damages attempts, there will no chance... ...
    But not to mention they won't do it... ... if they do, they become meat in this forest even to smaller predators... ...
    Either way, the gods will win. At every game, either path will go nowhere but to the next game... ... because the gods had already 'built' your mouse track.
    Soon... ... no laws nor police nor military powers will be bothered by us... ... you mortals will once again, be just meat... ...
    Do feel free to try jump out of the chessboard... ... ... will be so fun seeing mortals do that.
