I love that you mentioned your grandson, he is probably so precious to you as my grandson is to me. my daughter bought me a doll house for Christmas a kit and my grandson said Nana when you start working on your house can I help which of course I said absolutely. I can’t wait ❤
Yes..I am his Nana..and he is always collecting things for me and asking me if I can use this or that before he throws it away...or he'll say Nana can use that for her dollhouse! Lol🥰 He is the light!❤❤

I love Josephine house! Granny's room is so lovely. Yes! You got the wall exactly right. I have an old house with plaster walls and this is exactly what happens! 😍✨❤️
Oh that room will be the sewing/dressing room..will be working on it after The ol lady is finished..we will be seeing her in a few more days!!!🤗🥰💖

I adore your style! It's fantastic. I love all the stained wood throughout. I may have to switch from watered down paint to actual stain, even though it smells.
You definitely do not have to use real wood stain..Waverly antique wax..is an amazing substitute for wood stain and can be applied like acrylic paint on several materials. But use it the same way you would with stain ...The house came with all the wood interior..minus kitchen ceiling..lol.. I just love it!

Lovely house and all the details ,I have decided I am probably better watching then doing as I don't think I could ever have the patience let alone talent for this , all the same do wish I had kept my daughter's dolls House a few in decades ago u never know ......
Thank You so much!🥰❤️Right about the dollhouse..I had a couple in the past..when my daughter was 8..I bought one I thought I would have the passion and patience to construct it..but was too overwelmed..and it never got done..then I had to sacrifice the one I had and chose to keep this one "The Josephine House" It was more finished and I had a big head start.
You would be surprised at what you could make, I underestimate myself all the time. I suppose my patience comes from my passion, bc I never knew I had any patience..it's mostly determination and stubbornness!😆🥰
Like everything but color of wall in first room and its rug , I also don't like curtains in grandmas room. They don't go and she would do better to cheer herself. The door you could leave off and use a curtain. Guest room for grandkids could be upstairs in part of attic. So much potential .Love it.
I don't like the wall paper in the first room either..lol and I have remodeled the blue bedroom..it will be changing into a sewing/dressing room now.🥰

Why is grandma in single not double bed? I was a widow for years before remarry ing and sleeping in same bed gave me comfort, so maybe to grandma too.
Lol..it is the biggest bed I could find with a metal frame..😂😂🥰🥰 and it is the 30s ..so a common thing to have separate beds!! Lol
