This camera has 240mah battery, what is benifit of that?
when you plugged in for the first time the video showed some "_"s in the bottom left side of the corner where the speed and location are supposed to be at 7:40 . After the dashcam sample clips started playing near 7:50 the clip started showing speed and locations. What did you turn on in the app besides GPS?
I also had the same doubt, today after installation I checked, recorded videos in SD card has speed and GPS info but not in the app

Q: will the summer and extreme heat cause any damage to dashcam as parking doesn't have shadows so it would be parking in open for at least 6 hours
I park my vehicle often outside, nothing has happened so far. So, it should not be a concern. But better to put a cloth inside the car to cover key parts, not just for the Dashcam but for other components as well to avoid heat damage.

Thanks Ullas. Wireless dashcams do exist, but not sure from top brands though. There are a few options outside India which I have seen.

Continuously means? It will always be recording after ignition is started. It stops only when the ignition is off.
Doesn't the viewfinder have a few degrees of play so that we can point it up or down after fixing the cam to the windshield?
Viewfinder is your app to position the camera, which we have shown in the video.
Does it come with back camera variant also?
Yes, qubo has a model with front & rear camera together.

I am struggling to connect qubo pro app with the dashcam while android auto is connected, so each time I have to disable my phone's bluetooth and then only the dashcam connects with the app. Is it normal or there is any issue with my device. Will apreciate your response on this. Thanks
Option 1 : Android Auto, try to connect using wire if slot is available. Maybe Bluetooth & the hotspot of the camera is interfering with each other.
Option 2 : Maybe connect to the Qubo app when Android Auto is off.

It can record...but u have to connect to the battery of the engine directly... U can do this off market with some extra wires... After this u can record during parking also

Not required. Wifi is needed only to download the videos or connect to the app
but unable to use music of mobile or even inbuilt car FM while the cam is recording . is there a way around that ?

How auto delete work?
Bro how to update software of the device? It’s prompting. But not getting updated. Tried several times.
I also faced similar issue, solution i found is, you need to disconnect mobile data while updating & be connected only to Dashcam hotpot. If still not working, try clearing app data & re-login as well.
Does this drain car battery when car is in parking mode ?
When the car is off it does not record. Only when the car ignition is on it starts recording. So battery drain is negligible.

Yes, it will be. It has to be class 10 minimum.
Update if Hero group is having the access to my recordings ?
I don't know. It gets stored to your SD Card which you can access through the app. Not sure whether it'll get uploaded to their servers or not.

I have some problems with qubo pro x :
1. How to download recorded video clips from app to Mobile storage, currently when click on download button ( down arrow) the app is crashing.. !!
2. Currently the video recording is happening in 10 sec clips, can we extend it ?
1. Try clearing cache & data of the app and login again and try again.
2. You can extend video downloads upto 1 min, it downloads in batches of 1 min each. For ex: if you want last 1 hour footage it downloads you 60 videos of 1 min each into your gallery and saves it, I know it sucks, but that's how it is.
This dash cam can b installed in any type of car?
Ya, of course. You just need to have a charging port in car that's it. Or maybe a lighter socket where the charging port can be added.

What is better 256 or 128gb?
256 GB is good as a long term use.

For recording it doesn't have to be connected to the hotspot. To access the app & save the files to your phone you need to connect that's it.

You can download the video from the app actually, where it shows the status. Did you check that?

Bro, how do you tuck the cable on the dashboard. Bring it from front to back of the a pillar and down the dashboard.
There are some small gaps under that, so u can use that.

Turn off mobile data on your phone. Just use the hotspot and connect to the dashcam's wifi and try opening the app. It should work.
