There are two fixes.. 1. put the charge plug and remove it immediately one you see the charging ring.... 2. Open the selfie camera , turn on the flash, take a selfie..it is fixed. I discovered these two with my note 9 as a fix
My note 9 just got this issue yesterday for no reason, tries option 2 as a last resort and bang, the selfie take just flash my screen, my screen returns to normal, just a simple trick that resolved it, Ive been trying several solution but none works, just wow, that's life saver, dunno if it is just temporary fix or not but will use my phone and see, is it a software or hardware issue? probably not a hardware as the fix was instant
Be thankful that the S9/Note9 series with that issue can be fixed using Always on Display. The S10/Note10 series (I have S10 plus) got a little greenish tint on the screen after updating it to Android 12. Always on display does not fix it.
I didn't know about that. I don't know if it was my illusion, last night when I turned off my S20 FE (I really turned it off, it wasn't the PowerOff button) and after the Samsung logo disappeared a green spot appeared very quickly and I was immediately shocked hahahaha😢
First Put the screen brightness level at highest point then download the app darker(screen filter) and then turn on it at keep the brightness on around 50 on app. I m using my note 9 for last two years with this 😊
I just tried this now on my note 9 as the flickering was almost blinding me. I will watch my phone for a whole day and see if it completely fixed it. Thank you

Idk why it doesnt work for my phone. Turn on the AOD but by tapping twice on the screen the clock was too dim and the screen is the same after pressinh turn on button.

mine need to remove wireless pad at the back of phone screen will be ok again no green screen issue but, cant charge the phone while nfc/wireless pad at back didnt attach 🥲

After a years im still using this method to solve the problem. Feel sad that some of you cannot solve the problem by using this method after few mth.

IMPORTANT: Make sure your phone has this setting! Settings-->Lock Screen--> Always on display should be ON 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
