    WOW!!! That was EPIIIIIIIC Ben!!! I was literally YELLING with amazement with the customizing of colors, reducing the screen to make the lines, the key frames, the attached objects, the motion blurs, etc... and the TRACKING... yes, I still need to go back and watch your videos on THAT!
    Then a loved asked me why I was yelling, and didn't understand why I was so impressed by "lines going across a screen"... they are now requesting that you make a dinosaur eat a car... 🙄

    Absolutely Yes, It was really useful
    I did have na idea about cropping the solids and keyframing
    But what I didn't know was about Tracking....
    I used to think that I have to do title keyframing frame by frame, I learned where and how to find tracker & also never knew how to bring up the icon tools to make my texts intersting, thanks Ben

    Hi Ben. Great Tutorial. Just one query. When I made the composite file and then went to transform the Transform/Tracker controls didn't appear. What do I need to do?
    Cheers

    • @BenjaminHalsall
      @BenjaminHalsall  2 роки тому +1

      Super Leeds!!! Do you mean the compound clip? You'd need to double click into there. Actually I didn't test re-doing the track within the compound clip so you may need to bring them back to the main timeline to activate it.

    I have a really stupid question. Long time sub, fcp 9 fan. I would really like to make a 10 hour stream of my poorly played game streams. How would you export that to UA-cam?

    • @BenjaminHalsall
      @BenjaminHalsall  2 роки тому +1

      I would definitely try to export that locally then upload to UA-cam separately. I've not tried to export something that long for a while. Do you have overlaid effects on the video?

    Awesome vid and great use of the new tracking tool. How can we save this so it’s always ready for all projects?

    • @BenjaminHalsall
      @BenjaminHalsall  2 роки тому +1

      There are two ways you could do this. 1. Create a Library of animated sequences & stock footage that you use and re-use in you work .... and 2. Export a video version of this with transparency. I show how to create exportable items with transparency here in this video - ua-cam.com/video/o-l1mc9YEro/v-deo.html - which I think you may have watched so I am just noting it here for others.

    I have a question about the Collar Board. While I was following your tutorial of changing the colour on the Compound Clip Shape, the colour I want to change (for example the purple 12:45) didn't change the colour at all. I might miss something?

    • @BenjaminHalsall
      @BenjaminHalsall  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, sometimes it can be tricky. A couple of things I'd check here... Is your layer selected? Is the playhead positioned over it? What is the original colour of your line... if it is black then the colour board may do very little. If you can share a screen recording of where you are stuck showing your timeline and the colour board perhaps I can help.

      @@BenjaminHalsall Hi Ben,
      Thank you for your quick response!
      For your question
      The Layer Selected?
      Yes, both of them and I tried them individually and change them on the "Colour Inspector"
      The Playhead Positioned over it?
      Yes, I nested "Basic Title" on the "Compound Clip"
      The Orginal Colour of the line?
      When I drag and drop the Solids Background. It is on Black by default
      The Basic Title is on white by default.
      Here is the link to what I did on the animation line.
      ua-cam.com/video/gQN5HJVLoho/v-deo.html
      P.S is there any way to change the position of the animated line like in a vertical? For example, creating a triangle animation?
      Thank you very much for your response and I learn a lot when I tried the first video editing!
      Best regards,
      June
