I paused your video and got up and went through the utensil drawer. Got rid of nine things! And I thought I decluttered that drawer already lol . Love these videos where we can see your thought process. Sometimes I go back to your old videos and can see other furniture or decor that you let go along the way. Love your videos

Yess! Utensil drawer is what I immediately think about when I am reminded of spaces that maybe need decluttering. We actually have two utensil drawers so I guess this can be downsized 2x. The problem is I live in a household with other people so I can't just throw stuff away without discussing with everyone. The more people the less I feel like I can declutter... It's so much easier decluttering my own stuff!!😂

One important thing that I still struggle with is, just because it’s a set doesn’t mean it has to stay together. My kitchen pots and pans came as a set but I never use the smallest pot. It takes up really important space in my cupboard. Maybe it’s time to put it in the maybe bin.
Yes! Get it out of there and in a week or a month when you still see you don’t use it get rid of it 💕 maybe bins are great for people like me and I was crippled with indecision. Just make sure it doesn’t stay there 😍thanks so much for sharing with us!!

Hey Becky, I think giving yourself a number of items to declutter even if it's small is a great idea as it focuses your mind on really looking at what you own & assessing whether you really want/need that thing ❤️

Great video maybe you can give out those gummy bears, choc ones etc you can give them out to trick or treaters with other candies they'll love them and they are wrapped + sealed individually 😀

I ❤ the idea of maybe bins, it helps to free up space and organize areas, but lots of influencers say to just get rid of it, if it is not used in a certain amount of time without even looking at it again 😨...... I think that makes the decision to put it in the maybe harder in the first place.
I keep a maybe bin and a cardboard donate box in the top of my front hall closet and put things in each as I do my normal cleaning. When my donate box is full, I’ll pull down my maybe bin and see if there’s anything I want to move to the donate box. Then I take my donation box and drop it off the next time I’m in town. Some things will stay in the maybe bin for a long time if I’m not ready to decide, but most things are easy to switch over once I’ve seen that I haven’t thought about them since I put them in originally added them to the maybe bin.
@@yahyeet4383 We are maybe twins I think 😊 .........I so don't agree with donating unopened boxes , I just revel in the idea of being able to fill up a donate bag really quickly from the maybe stuff and just like you I don't always get rid of the maybe stuff after a set amount of time 🙌 What you have said makes so much sense to me 😁😁😁😁😁
Just like with dieting, there comes a point where maintenance becomes the priority. Many times it is because we bring something in to replace something, but then we may forget to get rid of the old stuff we just replaced, socks, linens, underwear, hair products, etc.. Therefore, maintenance is a must to keep a decluttered home. Thankfully, it goes much quicker than the initial session. It is also a good time to look at areas that may be able to be tweaked for a better flow or use.

I used to only have black socks. But now i have lots of crazy socks (same brand mostly so they fit the same.) I wear them mismatched for fun. I think about the colours, 🎉 patterns and the mood i’m in when dressing. Fun on my feet! And if one wears out it’s ok - lots left!! And 😁 If my socks match - it’s because i’m running low and need to do laundry!! ❤💙💚💜

❤ Do you still use the hibar shampoo bar or do you prefer the liquid form from Trader Joe’s? I recently starting using Ethique shampoo bar and love it!
I still use the shampoo bar and love it 😍 the conditioner from Trader Joe’s is ok I haven’t been able to find a conditioner bar I like yet. So let me know!
@ I use the ethique co-wash conditioner bar for curly hair and love it! You don’t even need shampoo! 😆
Or go around and gather all the like items to see exactly how much of that item (cords) you have and keep what you actually use
