✔️Synopsis :
Dev Anand plays a asst/driver serving a rich man, Shyam babu in Kolkata. A poor man that he is, falls in love with a rich man's daughter( Asha parekh) amid some comical circumstances where both play hide and seek. He borrows Rs.35000 from a mysterious stranger to play the role of an estranged brother in law to a dying rich man in Darjeeling.
What follows is a series of mysterious and baffling chain of events which plunge the hero into a deeper and ever deeper conspiracy. Good melodious songs and taut screenplay and suspense is kept up almost to the end, that makes it worth your time.

Dev anand was an Emperor of romance 💜 I still remember in childhood an uncle called me like him as i used to always keep my top button of shirt closed, that made my day ! Dev sahab’s power was intact in everything from his films to his looks. Although his name was popular for dialogue delivery, but there was another special thing in him, due to which he made a lot of headlines. That thing was nothing else, but Dev Anand never opened the top button of his shirt in any of his films. And this habit of his gradually became his style. It is said that his fans used to watch his films thinking that maybe this time the upper button of Dev Anand will open, but it never happened. another style of was very much liked by the fans. That was his style of bowing his neck. It was his amazing style that made his look different.

I guess so that adding ham scenes was a trend in those times.. other than that, the storyline is intriguing. The music and songs are situational to the movie. Dev Saab alongwith his character portrail also flaunts his own swag! Although certain plots are most predictable, one can surely enjoy watching this entertaining movie.
