It makes the X-men more vulnerable.
They implemented her mutation to the sentinels. They originally had Mystique's adaptation. But we also see they absorb powers, which isn't Mystique's ability. These were the few humans allowed to live, living in fear for their lives.
Missed one of the scenes where Logan take out his claws when Magneto uses the rebar against him. It’s a short scene, but Rogue still looks at his claws in fear since she got stabbed by them before.
It's interesting in this version of Days Of Future Past, humans are also still alive. In the comics and animated adaptations, ALL humans and mutants were on the brink of extinction. Deadpool & Wolverine not bringing back Rogue to FINALLY give her closure & an emotional tie to Wolverine was such a missed opportunity. X-23 was great, but not having any of the core FoX-Men was a crime.
Even though Rogue and Bobby are apparently broken up here, it’s clear they’re not over each other. He dies for her and she screams for him. 😭 I think he loved both her and Kitty - they each had their own place in his heart.
This is from The Rogue Cut, a different version of the film released to dvd and stream and not theatrically. It puts the scenes Anna Paquin shot back into the film.
The fact that Rogue was supposed to be in that scene where the sentinels got in the room with everyone and almost killed them but they cut it and had Kitty be the one to keep Logan in the past the entire time bothers me. They could’ve used her more than what they did instead of just having her at the end of the movie.
I must say, the sentinals in this films look way more terrifying than any other adaptation. Having mystique's gene into the mix, it allows this machines to shape shift into whatever predetaory form to kill any mutant that means it also injects the fear of unknown horror as well.
I think the main reason they cut this out is that it would have made the movie too long... Also the action sequences had too many plot holes if they didn't do it right. Like they were surrounded by metal. There's no way Magneto would have to run from those sentinels.
Exactly. Too much metal for there to had been ANY casualties at least for their escape from the mansion scene Bobby/Iceman dying at the *end of the film (theatrical version) made more sense - but still, including Rogue in the movie SHOULD HAVE BEEN a thing - **just edit the sequences
Not really. Live action Rogue is nothing like the confident, sassy, and extremely powerful character from the comics and cartoon series. It's not entirely her fault, since the writers didn't do the character justice, but I really have a hard time believing Anna Paquin could pull that off.
Im playing marvel snap and just watch again xmen days of future past and on credits i see rogue which is 1 of my fav card on marvel snap but dont know the scene and search on youtube and here i am. Only 1 scene with bobby/iceman but this video I've never see before
Some of the decisions made for these X-Men movies blow my mind. It makes absolutely no sense to cut Rogue's scenes from the movie as it would have improved in my opinion.
It’s crazy that these scenes aren’t in the final cut. Rogue was one of the most notable characters in the first 3 movies, to not have her in this film was just wired. I had assumed there was a conflict with the actress or something but theses deleted scenes prove she did them… it’s just so strange
Kitty Pryde suddenly having time travel problems makes no sense. Nor does mystique being the platform for advanced sentinels. They could have easily slotted Rogue into either role as a better fit.
They did experiments, dissection, and DNA gathering from mutants in First Class. Darwin and Emma Frost are the powers we see most when the sentinels are defending themselves from attack. They couldn't implement those powers into a sentinel without Raven is all that they were saying. Rogue was for a special darker program where they would have basically created the crappy Deadpool or Apocalypse... sentinels with a ton of powers all at once defense and attack
They cut her scenes for pacing issues they felt it didn’t let the movie run well but a year later they released the Rogue cut and that seems to be the version people prefer cause it resolves some plot holes and extends some other scenes
@@Dendrite20 the biggest plot hole of how the Sentinals actually gained the different mutant powers to over run the world sending it into a apocalyptic world. The movie was about how when Mystic was captured in the 70s and her DNA was used to help make the design of the Sentinels. But they were still missing a big part of what the makers wanted them to be able to do. it wasn't until the makers of the Sentinals were able to also captured Rogue that they were able prefect their design and to copy the mutants different powers and have the Sentinels also use the powers as well. That was why the Mutant lost in the future. They could not use their own powers without their powers being copied and used back against them. So by taking Rogues part out it remains a mystery on how the enemy won and how they were able to copy powers.😂 if the Sentinals did not have that ability they would not have won against the mutants.
They always shoot multiple scenes and endings to the Movies. I prefer the Rogue cut but in Xmen the last stand Rogue got the cure shot at the end of that movie she touched Bobby with her bare skin. I think thats why they cut her out because she got the cure and the cure shot didn't kill them Like Sentinels do. Xmen is all over the map especially with the age of William Striker. He couldn't have gotten that old from the 70's to the 80's when he gave Logan his antmantium. Don't try to make sense of X men movies after 3rd one just relax and enjoy.
So for some reason i remember the slogan for rouge cut beeing something like se Rouge Sore but not once did she use her strength or flight. I felt kinda robbed.
No Ms marvel.....so they couldn't give her those powers. Or they wouldn't have been able to use Ms. Marvel in the Avengers as she'd be in a coma permanently until Rogue wakes her later....but I don't think she'd have her powers back. She'd be a normal human again.
I kinda see why they cut this though. It does slow down the momentum of the movie. Part of it is story: if Kitty is injured like that by Wolverine, why would rogue taking her powers for a long period of time not Killy kitty? lol it was only temporary if I remember correctly. Also I liked the idea that the sentinels didn’t need an obvious clue to find them; they just did and there was no escaping them. That’s the feel of the theatrical release.
I never saw the Rogue scenes before but in a way, while I like Rogue as a character in the comics as well as 90s show & films, I think keeping her out added to the suspense in the film with not only having the Sentinels hunt them but also Kitty having to keep Logan in 1973 while she’s seriously hurt had me feeling nervous with them. Keeping Rogue in this case for this story would’ve been a lazy cop out being as overpowered as she is in the film.

Rogue version is much more relatable in terms of flow
0:22 Bobby touching Rogue: 😩
This is a really expensive deleted scene
They shoud have inclueded her in the filme. It'd make it so much better! Missed such a great ending with Rogue saving Logan, and the future, just like he saved her in the beginning!
Deadpool & Wolverine not bringing back Rogue to FINALLY give her closure & an emotional tie to Wolverine was such a missed opportunity. X-23 was great, but not having any of the core FoX-Men was a crime.
i hope lots of them return in avengers secret wars
Wouldve been great to see a proper reunion between them, father and daughter 😢
Even though Rogue and Bobby are apparently broken up here, it’s clear they’re not over each other. He dies for her and she screams for him. 😭 I think he loved both her and Kitty - they each had their own place in his heart.
I don’t remember this and I just watched it last night
This is from The Rogue Cut, a different version of the film released to dvd and stream and not theatrically. It puts the scenes Anna Paquin shot back into the film.
I've never seen CGI this good in the Xmen even to this day
rogue is the best!!! X-men did her dirty in all the movies!
The fact that Rogue was supposed to be in that scene where the sentinels got in the room with everyone and almost killed them but they cut it and had Kitty be the one to keep Logan in the past the entire time bothers me. They could’ve used her more than what they did instead of just having her at the end of the movie.
Her part was soo good
Rogue and Iceman still ending up together is such a cop-out. Kitty and Colossus weren't even a thing in these movies.
I must say, the sentinals in this films look way more terrifying than any other adaptation. Having mystique's gene into the mix, it allows this machines to shape shift into whatever predetaory form to kill any mutant that means it also injects the fear of unknown horror as well.
Anna Paquin is a good actress. The movies could’ve done more with rogue
I think the main reason they cut this out is that it would have made the movie too long... Also the action sequences had too many plot holes if they didn't do it right. Like they were surrounded by metal. There's no way Magneto would have to run from those sentinels.
Exactly. Too much metal for there to had been ANY casualties at least for their escape from the mansion scene
Bobby/Iceman dying at the *end of the film (theatrical version) made more sense - but still, including Rogue in the movie SHOULD HAVE BEEN a thing - **just edit the sequences
Perfect casting
Not really. Live action Rogue is nothing like the confident, sassy, and extremely powerful character from the comics and cartoon series. It's not entirely her fault, since the writers didn't do the character justice, but I really have a hard time believing Anna Paquin could pull that off.
I love Anna Paquin as Rogue.
wait so she is only in 4mins of the film? what the hell
Im playing marvel snap and just watch again xmen days of future past and on credits i see rogue which is 1 of my fav card on marvel snap but dont know the scene and search on youtube and here i am. Only 1 scene with bobby/iceman but this video I've never see before
She's soo good
I don't understand, why did they cut all of her scenes? She's perfect.
These sentinels were so fucking ruthless.
Essa cena é espetacular.......
I always thought iceman and rogue should’ve ended up together in this universe
They did in the reset timeline.
@@jaredruff9823 yeah I know I just hated how they threw Bobby and kitty together in last stand
True!! But now he’s gay so that’s not gonna happen
Those sentinels are probably the scariest thing to ever appear in superhero movies
Rogue still has ptsd from magneto lol
this scene completely justifies the rogue cut
damm this is a completely different movie
❤o'zbekistan🇺🇿🤝🇺🇲USA Senkiyuv😃
This is NOT all the Rogue cut scenes.
We need ice man in the MCU his powers are dope AF
I swear when it first came out, I watched it with her scenes...
Mandela Effect
Wtf?
How did I miss this?
I like both versions though Logan seeing rouge at the end as more intact when (i thought) she was dead.
The graggle simpson of the xmen universe
Disney + should have the Rogue cut to watch.
anna was great as rogue....
I disagree. She acts nothing like the character in the comics. This is the real Rogue:

Magneto was way too kind to those humans experimenting on rogue. In his younger years he would have just killed them on the spot.
Kitty Pryde suddenly having time travel problems makes no sense. Nor does mystique being the platform for advanced sentinels. They could have easily slotted Rogue into either role as a better fit.
She got stabed by Wolwerine, what problems are you talking about?
They did experiments, dissection, and DNA gathering from mutants in First Class. Darwin and Emma Frost are the powers we see most when the sentinels are defending themselves from attack. They couldn't implement those powers into a sentinel without Raven is all that they were saying. Rogue was for a special darker program where they would have basically created the crappy Deadpool or Apocalypse... sentinels with a ton of powers all at once defense and attack
The sentinels have been perfect because of the genes and powers of rogue and raven.
It’s weird how they cut her out . I mean she’s like a little sister in the movies to Wolverine. It was only a fewer mins .
Why was she cut in the original version ?
They cut her scenes for pacing issues they felt it didn’t let the movie run well but a year later they released the Rogue cut and that seems to be the version people prefer cause it resolves some plot holes and extends some other scenes
@@Jfleming321 what plot holes? (genuinely curious)
Ok Im confused now. Why did they cut her out like that? Can anyone tell me ?
They always shoot multiple scenes and endings to the Movies. I prefer the Rogue cut but in Xmen the last stand Rogue got the cure shot at the end of that movie she touched Bobby with her bare skin. I think thats why they cut her out because she got the cure and the cure shot didn't kill them Like Sentinels do. Xmen is all over the map especially with the age of William Striker. He couldn't have gotten that old from the 70's to the 80's when he gave Logan his antmantium. Don't try to make sense of X men movies after 3rd one just relax and enjoy.
The "cure" is only temporary, that's how Magneto got his powers back too.
I love rogue both in comics and movue so it's a crime removing her in the days of future past.
Noo why did they cut her out the ”hello logan” was so nice like😔😔😔😔
I prefer rouge and gambit pairing to rouge and bobby
Man I hate they cut out this scene
Why did they cut this?
She was there the whole time
Fiquei triste por nao terem colocado as cenas com a vampira no filme 😕
So for some reason i remember the slogan for rouge cut beeing something like se Rouge Sore but not once did she use her strength or flight. I felt kinda robbed.
No Ms marvel.....so they couldn't give her those powers. Or they wouldn't have been able to use Ms. Marvel in the Avengers as she'd be in a coma permanently until Rogue wakes her later....but I don't think she'd have her powers back. She'd be a normal human again.
Why I never saw these scenes?
Because it was cut the whole movie
You can watch them apart of the film as the rogue cut version
Thank you lol
Same
@@l8studios_ DVD's and i think Blu rays
Didn't they completely cut all out of this movie because I don't remember seeing her in it at all
Yes but the fans wanted Rogue so they put out another dvd version called the Rogue cut.
You forgot the opening scene where she sees the x belt before the logo appears
