It’s so weird watching someone I have respected and followed for so many years talking to me like someone in a pub would. It’s so refreshing. Thank you Peter.

Every time I listen to your creations I reconnect with myself and with the earth. You have always been a generous soul, with your heartfelt poetry, your global music aesthetic, your collaborations, your kindness and humility. Thank you from the heart.
Hello, that’s beautifully said. I wish you and your country all the best. I used to visit regularly. I am so sorry for what your country has been through. GD
As a 14 year old I was thrilled to see you standing there singing Watcher of the Skies at Bournemouth Winter Gardens in October 1973, and in September 1977 at Southampton Gaumont I led the audience to the front of the stage to wake them up. You reached down and shook my hand at the end of the concert. Special memories, Peter!
Peter is such an articulate and thoughtful artist, ever since early Genesis days distinct from many major artists/ Pop stars who simply want to sell commercial product. It's that's deeper integrity that makes the music he creates of so much value!
He’s like George Harrison, who started to focus on the gap between the material and the spiritual. It had all kinds of manifestations including climate change.
Peter, You have and always will be my favorite singer and songwriter. Your songs are an intrinsic part of my and so many of my friends lives and I thank you for all of the musical gifts. I’ve been at all your live shows since the early 70’s and will be there when you come back to America again. So happy you’re doing another studio album and can’t wait for the next Full Moon!
I would absolutely love to sit down and talk with Peter about his spiritual beliefs and experiences. He sounds like he’s a deeply spiritual guy and that fascinates me
"What you see is going on". Three years ago there was no doubt in my mind this was true. But it isn't, I learned. Especially mainstream media shows you what they want you to think, even if it's not true. The song sounds amazing!
I have listened you from 1982 as a young boy and never stopped. My first CD though was the 'Jungle Album' officially maybe called 'IV' cos I heard from our local radio station your song called 'Shock the Monkey' and I was hooked.
Fourtyfive years spent listening to Genesis and Peter. I remember very well the first concert of yours i have seen...it was 1980, in Genova. I can't wait to hear the new album. I hope you'll come to Italy again..i'd ike to see your new show .For me, it would be the sixth time !! By the way...thank you for what you gave us. Music is life.
I wish to thank Peter Gabriel for giving me hope and even joy when my own life was very sad and dark. What a brilliant artist. Not just the messages, but also the media, equally amazing!
Peter, you are my favorite musician of all time. I can’t wait to enjoy your new album. Consider reading your intro after replacing “Earth” & “Nature”, with God. Our Lord Jesus Christ created it all. We need you and your music in heaven.
Peter will never know, but he actually (unknowingly, of course) gave me a very good English accent from when I was about 15/17, living in my old city of Venice and knowing by heart most of Genesis songs. Then there was the day I was listening to the Knebworth bootleg, when he was introducing Supper's ready and my mother went: " Is that you speaking?", but that's another story.
What a joy and thrill it is to see, Peter Gabriel, one of my favorite musicians of all time still putting out meaningful songs, with important environmental, and social concerns being brought to our attention. Back in the summer of 1985, one of my best friends introduced me to Peter Gabriel for the first time with what would be my favorite album ever, Security. He had it on audio cassette and we used to play it in the car every night after he got off work, and we would just drive around our hometown for hours listening to music as we talked about life and our future. Those were some of the best times of my life and my first real concert was the So tour where I got to see Peter Gabriel live. To this day Security is still my #1 favorite album and the songs within move me like no other. The Rhythm of the Heat and San Jacinto especially call out to me, and are quite near and dear to my heart. They stir up Native American memories from some past life as "I hold the line". As someone who suffers from Mental/emotional illness the song Wallflower, breaks my heart and serves as a warning.
I've been a fan my whole life Peter! I could not be more excited that you are BACK with a NEW album and NEW TOUR!!!!! Started crying the minute I saw the news! We are looking forward to your tour here in the United States. This new song is wonderful and has all the special touches that you bring with the music you create. Love you so very much!
It’s great aging along with Peter. First time I witnessed his genius was at the Roxy in LA, Christmas ‘72. Thanks for 50 years plus Peter. I’m still along for the journey.
Welcome back, Peter. It does my soul good to see you, to hear you. Congratulations on your new record. I knew I'd live to see this day. Blessings to you and your family.
I sold my first company in 1987. In 1989, frustrated and burned out from overwork, I was driving into my office and Solsbury Hill came on the radio. I listened deep to the lyrics, and made a pact with God: if this song comes on 3 times in one day, I'll take the same action Peter took to leave Genesis (save for the press release he did at the time). The song repeated twice more that same day, even sliding to another radio station immediately upj completion of one lower on the dial. I left shortly after. Was even sued by my employer. And it was all worth it. Thank you, Peter, for continuing to be a guiding light.
the idea of reconnecting with nature, the planet, the stars, the cosmos... is great! we've lost even the most basic idea of the 'natural world'.... a simple walk with nature can do for so much for you... seeing then this unbelievable lush production for this one song seems quite hilarious! i thought mr. gabriel was going to present us a simple acoustic song performed in just a real wood guitar... oh well!
As someone who's been fighting severe depression for 28 years, I just want to thank you not only for your music and words but the inspiration, seeing you carry on and be creative. It's been 25 years since my 3rd album, I don't know if I'll ever release another song, (although I have gigabytes of song ideas, arrangements and fragments and 190 pages of lyrics).... it was always my dream to record at Real World. Looking forward to more of your music, mate.
28 years....that is a major feat man. I have some mental health issues but thankfully they are not severe, and I have a great support system and painting and sculpting have been a great outlet for me. But even with that it can be tough. I can't imagine trying to cope and manage severe mental health challenges and I think you are awesome for your resilience. I wish you all the best.
When you talked about the Full Moon Club, I first thought about an international practice in the 1980s where people all over the globe would set their alarms and meditate at the moment of the full moon -- the same instant all over the planet. This isn't that, but you've given me a great memory, and this feels like a brother to that energy. Thank you.
Jon Anderson & Peter Gabriel, perhaps the 2 most remarkable and influential and satisfying vocalists of my lifetime in terms of popular recorded music, oh! and John Wetton closely follows.
On an emotional and instinctual level, the new track ignites you - to move, to lean into it, to welcome that voice back at last. There’s never a Gabriel creation without a fascinating journey. Inverting "panopticon" into the equalizing and educating world of "Panopticom" is a path as worthwhile as the music. I could not be happier to begin this year with the sounds and ideas of Peter Gabriel.

I have always been so moved by your music. It is amazing. The mood of everything makes me cry as I can see how the music moves you. Since my big brother introduced me to your music in 1983, you have become one of my top singers. I thank you. My daughter thanks you as she would have enjoyed going to your concert since I introduced her to you when she was only 5. But she has passed away 3 months ago now at the age of 29. 🙏🏽OMG! I LOVE YOU, PETER GABRIEL! FOR BEING AMONGST THE FIRST WITH HIGH PUBLIC INFLUENCE TO OPEN THIS DISCUSSION!!! You have NO IDEA how excited I am to witness this kind of video from someone like you! I still don’t have the biggest picture within frame, as YT’s algorithms recommended this as the first video to watch, and I realize the entity who owns the platform, is part of the concept you are speaking of here. lovely video mr. gabriel, can't wait for the album! last time you released an album i was only 17, now i'm 37 and you remain my favorite musical artist :)
Thank you, Mr. Gabriel you're nothing but a brilliant genius🙏 Can't believe it's been over 20 years since your last full album ~ it must have something to do with all those singles you've given us in between Up and now Io; they give a feeling of of a collective album or more. You're sounding better than ever and I've never been more interested in a full moon than in these days😉 Looking forward to the rest of the album and the upcoming tour👍
I heard all the albums as a child, the older ones, and that has always accompanied me afterwards and I understood that even as a child and nobody didn't know what I was talking about. I took the CDs from my dad when I moved out and I listen to them regularly and watch the old videos. I'm also looking forward to the book and of course the new album ❤️ I believe so I'll get my dad.
Peter as I have grown up to you and grown with you, you have never failed to impress and stun especially your live tours .. I hope your daughter is still singing along with you, with her amazing voice as well, I know she makes you proud . I look forward to your upcoming songs !! Keep up the great work and never give up.
Hopefully he's coming to Seattle this year, I saw him several years ago with Sting and Eddie Vedder made a guest appearance when they performed "Driven to Tears" and the concert was amazing.
So happy to see this! I will be one of the first to get tickets! I have waited a long time, as all of us have, to hear Peter is back on the road ! Yeah!!!
I remember Peter Gabriel walking down the isle with a drum on his way to the stage. That was The 1982 Security Tour, make-up and all. Peter Gabriel has a presence like no other ! You have made a major difference in my life. In Jesus.
A world class artist who never fails to be original , he paints a world through his music that is so full of creative ideas, its like CS Lewis in audio form, I get sick and tired of artist like Adele singing about another break up song, same with most artists today they just won't push the boat out a little further, its like listening to Phil Collings 80's albums they are cold and clinical and safe. Peter will take you on a journey, look forward to the album.
That’s a really fresh sounding song Peter . I like the faster rhythm. I always love your music anyway, have done since the late 70’s and I’m delighted you still have original ideas and a passion for songwriting and the environment around us . ❤
As someone else in this thread commented, I too had tears in my eyes as I listened to this just before dawn today! So looking forward to hearing the other tracks and getting out to see Peter and the band on tour...did the single, most impulsive (spontaneous) thing I have ever done in my life and bought tickets to see Peter and the band in Copenhagen in late May! Twas not really in the budget, but when I learned European tour dates had been released, I simply could not keep myself from doing so! Decided I only have so many years left on this planet and will thereafter be dead for a very long time, so I said, "fuck-it" and jumped! So excited, on so, so many levels...
You're great Peter, I liked your song I'll be waiting for your album in May and we'll also be waiting for you to put on your concert here Mexico. Viva México 🇲🇽 Viva Peter Gabriel and Viva el Rock 🎸🤟🏻
What a JOY to see THE band that makes PG's music the beautiful, powerful and creative force it is taking part in the new music! Manu, Tony and David! I'm so thrilled.
Grazie
I like all Peter's sentiments. I also love the track. I also love where we(peter and myself) live and feel that the hills that we can walk speak as does the moon and stars.
Hello Peter, I'm very happy to see (I'm gone happiest when I heard ) new songs and project from you. Here in Belgium are so many, I don't like fans sorry, people who like your job(it's maby not a job) from the beginning! Remember your first concert with "Genesis" in the - Ferme V - near Brussels, what a dream ! Well show must go on, and you're a part of it (I accept your music is not a show... but music). See you maybe... Pat
What a generous act to pull back the curtain and share the process behind this deeply layered work. Looking forward to all the moons to come this year... each with another "big idea" from the master. You make my world a deeper, richer, wider open place. Glad to have you back!
I'm trying my best to stay focused on my work today, but when Peter Gabriel is speaking as though directly to me for 8 minutes and 57 seconds, I stop working for 8 minutes and 57 seconds.
Just sending you love PG! So happy for this new project, always so creative and conscious of this world we live in. My soul is happy to see you and hear you 🙏💕 thank you.
Never fails to get us all thinking. He won't agree with me because he's a humble man but he is a genius and a bit of a god in my eyes. See you on the tour everyone!
I would have said that this is a natural development of the idea he started with the album Ovo which was inspired by the earth and sky, and indeed working with the earth to preserve it's integrity. To me this is a movement which he has perpetuated still further. Thumbs-up to you Peter for highlighting the way of the Native American culture and bringing the preservation of the the state of the earth to the forefront.
Thank you Peter! I've been a huge fan since the early 70's. You are my absolute favorite non guitar playing musician! Peace from Southwest Michigan. 🧠🌌♾
I love the full moon release schedule and how you are using this technology in a new and positive way, Peter. Still wrapping my head around the ideas being put forth but I’m getting there 😊. Thank you for the new music… and getting us to use our brains along the way! Happy to be on this ride with everyone in this new year!

Same here. Ever since 1970s, Peter has been a kind of legendary figure for me.

I'd love to sign up for a fan club... been listening to his music and art ever since his first video on MTV. Brovo to utune to give us all the pleasure of reliving every concert ... I'd love to get a mailing address ...
he's brilliant as a speaker. He would be an amazing quest speaker at our daughters College ... oh my ! •~•\||•▪︎♡☆°~~... thanks for sharing your thoughts
Hello Peter lovely to hear from you .
lovely video mr. gabriel, can't wait for the album! last time you released an album i was only 17, now i'm 37 and you remain my favorite musical artist :)
Thank you, Mr. Gabriel you're nothing but a brilliant genius🙏 Can't believe it's been over 20 years since your last full album ~ it must have something to do with all those singles you've given us in between Up and now Io; they give a feeling of of a collective album or more. You're sounding better than ever and I've never been more interested in a full moon than in these days😉
Looking forward to the rest of the album and the upcoming tour👍
I heard all the albums as a child, the older ones, and that has always accompanied me afterwards and I understood that even as a child and nobody didn't know what I was talking about. I took the CDs from my dad when I moved out and I listen to them regularly and watch the old videos. I'm also looking forward to the book and of course the new album ❤️ I believe so I'll get my dad.
I'm highly looking forward for the next few moons, thanks a lot Peter and it's great to have you back
You're very wise, Peter Gabriel. Thank you for these enlightening words. If you ever need anything from Argentina, I'm available to help. Congrats!!
Greetings to you with best wishes from Ukraine. There are thousands of your fans in Ukraine for many decades. Thanks for your creativity!
Thank you for years of giving enjoyment with your music. Now you are still giving to our planet’s future. Well done Peter! ✌️
Super Love and respect for you, Sir! Thank you for everything you’ve given us…
Peter as I have grown up to you and grown with you, you have never failed to impress and stun especially your live tours ..
He's still so vibrant and sounds fantastic. Inspirational legend!

What a lovely idea :-) Always loved the music of Peter and look forward to the new Album :-)
Thankyou
So happy to see this! I will be one of the first to get tickets! I have waited a long time, as all of us have, to hear Peter is back on the road ! Yeah!!!
The most Peter Gabriel sounding song I ever heard! It's all there. Superb!!!!
My favourite thing about all of this - is that we are actually building the Panopticom and the Panopticon on the internet. Great stuff!
That’s a really fresh sounding song Peter . I like the faster rhythm. I always love your music anyway, have done since the late 70’s and I’m delighted you still have original ideas and a passion for songwriting and the environment around us . ❤
Thanks Thanks for my soul
It sounded awesome.
Hello
Thank you Peter, for your music, I hope see you there in Chile some day.
You're great Peter, I liked your song I'll be waiting for your album in May and we'll also be waiting for you to put on your concert here Mexico. Viva México 🇲🇽 Viva Peter Gabriel and Viva el Rock 🎸🤟🏻
Thank you for everything. From Stelli theater, Pittsburg Kansas USA!
What a JOY to see THE band that makes PG's music the beautiful, powerful and creative force it is taking part in the new music! Manu, Tony and David! I'm so thrilled.
I could listen to Peter read a phone book from the nineties and it would still be transcendental.
SO is the greatest album ever!
Grazie
I like all Peter's sentiments. I also love the track. I also love where we(peter and myself) live and feel that the hills that we can walk speak as does the moon and stars.
Up and The Lamb Lies Down are two of my favourite albums of all time. Meltdown, Car, Scratch, Security, masterpieces.
Up is great. It brought me back to his music after a bit of a break.
Love this man's work.... Very different to others and always way ahead In the future, a true Artist always at the forefront... Awesome 😲
Hello
How wonderful Peter is to shine light on all mediums of art
I'm trying my best to stay focused on my work today, but when Peter Gabriel is speaking as though directly to me for 8 minutes and 57 seconds, I stop working for 8 minutes and 57 seconds.
Can't wait for the next full moon! Thank you Peter.
Just sending you love PG! So happy for this new project, always so creative and conscious of this world we live in. My soul is happy to see you and hear you 🙏💕 thank you.
Good luck @Peter Gabriel! As a fan I’m excited as a human being I’m hopeful 🙏 all my blessings 🫶✌️☮️
Never fails to get us all thinking. He won't agree with me because he's a humble man but he is a genius and a bit of a god in my eyes. See you on the tour everyone!
such a genius! Totally agree!
🧠🌌♾
So Exciting!!!
Can hardly wait!!!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ich freue mich schon auf das neue Album. Du bist einer der großartigen Künstler und Mensch ❤
I love the full moon release schedule and how you are using this technology in a new and positive way, Peter. Still wrapping my head around the ideas being put forth but I’m getting there 😊. Thank you for the new music… and getting us to use our brains along the way! Happy to be on this ride with everyone in this new year!
