The kpop stans in the chat weird me out everytime there is an XG reaction and they are rapping and it's actual hiphop music. Ppl saying they dont like girls to rap and that they only like rap or hiphop if its from an idol like jhope or rm and they don't even acknowledge their hiphop influences or appreciate it as a genre unless its in kpop. It's so annoying. I know all kpop stans are not like that but many are. They are very closed minded to genres like hiphop unless it's a watered down version from a kpop group.

People will always feel and hear things from their perspective/ view and all the people view is never Ganna be the same as you because each of us have different information and feeling and each of us think ours is the correct way to view things

Edit: I'm saying this when just this week I experience people judgment and perspective towards the group I listen to and are fan of. Then when I saw your comment I remembered how I felt this week and I really hope to learn to not take people perspective and judgment too personal.

i’m a casual listener of XG and seeing the chat was so funny. These girls never fail to push the boundary and they truly ate. Many idols have done pure hiphop tracks where there isn’t a normal structure (verse>prechorus>chorus, etc) and this is HIPHOP. These girls delivered it perfectly. Another example is RM Joke. His song doesn’t follow that line structure and yet it’s pure hiphop and rap and still amazing. Some people aren’t open minded to what that is though. lol
The comments during the live are so annoying. “They should be singing”. XG can do as they please. They sing in every song. I can understand if you don’t like rap, fine, but let’s not tell them they can’t drop rap songs if they want to? This is literally their first rap song lmao. It’s weird to me they don’t like rap, but probably listen to kpop with rap in it 😂 but whatevs. And then people saying they don’t like girls rap…so misogynistic 😭 i did love your thoughts though, Jino. However, I don’t think they go too hard all the time. They did do left and right, tgif, shooting star, puppet show, winter without you, new dance, tippy toes…those aren’t super hard songs. What I like about them is they have a mix of both. Recently though, they have been going hard in a way.

XG literally said they are breaking the boundaries cause they dont want to be considered "kpop" when typical kpop groups try so hard to stay pretty or presentable to their audiences. XG not afraid to look "ugly" and stay true to their music style.

Those kpop stans in the live chat give me the ICK. In fact, I’m so glad XG is doing things differently. They remind me so fondly of 2NE1. These girls can rap and they’re very committed to their craft. To see that disrespect and reduce them to cute women who should be singing bippity boppity bop breaks my heart.
The way u worded it is exactly the way they see XG. U can appreciate XG but considering women who sing cute songs as "bippity boppity" shows your lack of respect towards artists like that. It seems the way ppl esteem their group is by dogging another one. In reality the cute style done by certain groups or the tougher style, there is no "better than". They r simply different styles that can be done gd or bad. Feminine aspects of women r always insulted and women that r more to boyish r also insulted. Us as women can't win because ppl view one side as less credible or less likable.
I do def understand that some ppl expect them to sing and act cute and that can be frustrating and so they retort by insulting or at least undermining the opposing style. However, that achieves nothing. Kpop stans can be annoying and so can alphaz who r egotistical and think cute girl groups especially r not as good or as credible. (I'm not saying u said this)
As someone who always loved hiphop and who got into BTS through hiphop and rap (Mic Drop) and was obsessed with their earlier albuns , I've been really enjoying XG's songs. And them going this hard? Love. It. 😁
