    I just love how simply you explain instructions in your videos! It’s a joy to watch, plus I love you have no music and your accent is calming!💕

    Definitely one of the most challenging bails to make was the 4 wire bail. It took me several tries and many views of that clip but when i finally got it .....Man it turned out awesome. Thank you for the tutorials!!!

    Definitely pleasant to look at. I will say the integrity of smaller gauge wires will wear before the thicker cores. I usually place at least one bare wire in direct contact before a weaved set. Beautiful work regardless. Hope anyone finds it helpful

    I really enjoy your style of teaching and the fact that you have a window in the top left to remind us what we are aiming for. Thank you so much for sharing so generously.

    Thank you. I had been struggling watching another artists 4 wire bail but you slowed it down and I could see what was actually happening. My first attempt with your tutorial turned out much better than my last 40 of the other :P

    I've always been struggling to get my bails looking neat when I tried to do this corset weave, but watching your video showed me exactly what I was doing wrong! I didn't do the bails in a 3 step technique and it let the weaving wire slip all over even though I tried holding it in place. Thank you for sharing this very detailed tutorial. 🌹

      You're welcome Sandra, glad to help! The weaving wire does like to misbehave whenever it has a chance! 😄

    hello, I am very new watching your wonderful series of tips & techniques. I am here in the Southwestern U.S. in Albuquerque, NM and have done some small wire working technique projects. I hope to get some jewelry copper this next month to get started. Thank you for taking the time to educate the masses so to speak. Just one note if you could list the gauges of wire used, I get so confused with the metric conversion. Thanks so very much again. JoAnn from NM

      Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. In this video I mention the gauges at 40 seconds in, although you can change the gauge to suit the project. I've also included it in the description. I do include the gauge size as well as mm diameter in my new videos and I'm planning on adding it in the description for my older vids. But I've also got a conversion chart on my blog if you ever get stuck www.lily-tree.co.uk/single-post/2016/09/14/Wire-basics .

    Wondering if you have a tutorials with just the bail. I need to create a bail for a sort of donut shape, so with a hole in the center.

    Beautiful!!! I have been having such a hard time keeping the weaving wire to not end up snapping and breaking off on parts when I make rings. And when I make pendants, it'll happen too and get caught in hair or on clothes etc. Any tips? I've soldered a braided ring. But do you think it would work ok soldering the thin weaving wire in a few spots and at the ends to maybe help keep things together? I've been using either 30 and/or 26 gauge wire to weave around my base wires. Maybe I'm just bending and working the wire too much in the spots that break? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love your work and I love that you include soldering jewelry as well as wire wrapping as I love both and love getting inspired and leaning new techniques from you. You are a true artist.

    I would like to know to make a ball at the end of copper wire.

    • @LilyTree

      I have a tutorial for that at ua-cam.com/video/62pl3mQxu-w/v-deo.html I refer to headpins in the video, but the same technique can be used on longer pieces of wire.

    What brand of wire do you use

    • @LilyTree
      @LilyTree  7 років тому

      I have a few suppliers, but most often I go to wires.co.uk. They have a great range of copper wire and it comes beautifully soft to start working with.

    For those who do not understand English,
    it is much better to see how you do it ..
    than to hear so much chatter

    • @LilyTree
      @LilyTree  7 років тому +1

      Sorry if there wasn't enough visuals in this video for you. I include explanation in my videos where I believe it is needed, and as much demonstration as seems appropriate (and that my camera catches!) For non-English speakers, I am including closed captions and I'm more than happy if anyone wishes to translate them. I also have some non-speaking tutorials such as my newest video ua-cam.com/video/zxy6XsXtbuI/v-deo.html which may more useful.

      you dont have to hear the 'chatter' if you just mute your sound. That way you dont have to complain so bitterly. Others like me, like to hear all the chatter if the content is as good as this one.

    So frustrated! Can not follow along. Goes way too fast, not clear enough to see which wire is being wrapped. Makes no sense. I’ve even tried it on mute because the verbal instructions aren’t very clear either. Very beautiful wish I could find another tutorial.

      Then use the stop button to get the part that went too fast. And rewind it. I sometimes look at a video several times before I understand. Or go to the library and get a book.

    • @isatis595
      @isatis595 5 років тому +2

      You can stop the video and rewind, which is what I do to follow. Not so technical solution I know but works if you tried it

      I myself consider it to be very kind of her to take time out of her life to show us how to do any wire wrapping techniques at all. Most wire wrappers dont like to show any of their work unless being paid in a tutorial.
      I was able to understand everything she explained very well. Maybe you need to watch more beginner videos before trying something like this. Or take the suggestion of the other commenters and rewind the video. Just some thoughts.
