I’ve been following/supporting Gigi since she was Gregory as a teen boy with a great talent in make up. I’m happy for her to have such a beautiful life, a real and true love in Nats and living with no regrets. I’m a woman who’s proud to have her on our side. That said the waters have muddied in being trans these days. There are true trans people yet there has been a huge influx in young people “becoming trans” as sort of a novelty or becoming trans because they are confused as their young minds don’t have the experience to under what they are going through hormonally and then aren’t trans two years later.
I’m a little concerned that this book is going sort of perpetuate these things being that’s it’s “textbook” in style and will be attracting young, confused and vulnerable people. The trans community, the real trans community has worked so hard and come so far and it seems like it’s being made a mockery of. I truly hope that this book gets in the right hands and helps those who truly need it. I wish Gigi nothing but love, success and happiness. ❤
