Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 чер 2024
- @Dan Hurd and @mbmmllc team up for a prospecting adventure to determine how much gold and silver Dan has in his ore. This video has two parts: Prospecting gold veins for good looking ore to process through the crusher, hammer mill and shaker table. Part two is crushing, concentrating, and smelting the gold and silver down to pure precious metals.

Aww, was hoping we were going to shake down the leprechaun and find out how much gold Dan has stashed away over the years
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😝🤘
Skies were clear, no rainbow 🌈
😂😂🤣😂🤣🍀💚🍀
They're magical delicious. So where's the lucky charms, little man...lol
When he does vids at his home base, you see buckets and buckets of cons
Nice to see a local company do well and make these great collaborations!
THIS....this is what makes this whole thing so cool. Dan is such an interesting character and Jason is also very interesting but in another totally different and awesome way......an excellent collaboration, no doubt !!
You and Dan make for a great UA-cam "odd couple", Jason! Different personalities but totally compatible!
U ain't right ese
:)
Absolutely fantastic! You do a good service for Dan and what you did for Brent from Cerro Gordo, thanks. I'm impressed with your knowledge of refining and of your equipment. Really nice video
Now do Cody!
Man yes this guy knows what time it is smart man there I'm completely lost with all that big talk lol it's like me jumping in at 747 and them saying okay take off and go land 😂 lol
The only two gold UA-camrs I have any time for in one video - what more could I ask for? Been looking forward to this part two for what feels like months!
Dan was pretty quite in this video. He must have been in awe the whole time, and soaking in what you had to teach. Great collab. Can't wait till Sunday to see his view point.
Just wait till he drops his video
Yeah, he’s much more reserved when he’s working on someone else’ channel. He saves himself for his own videos and I appreciate that. I think he’s just being courteous of the other UA-camr’s channel/s.
How could being yourself be considered uncourtuous? You're weird lol
@@machinegunhippy my wierd tol is assembled thank you everyone welcome my UA-cam channel spot treasure
I live in Blaine, and had watched Dan for a while. When I ran across vids of the two of you, and now your channel, I think it's pretty cool that you guys are collaborating. Would love to do stuff like this for a living.
I love it when two guys I am fans of work together.
Pretty big to have Dan talk so highly of your set up. As always good video.
This reminds me so much of when I worked in an assay lab In Thunder Bay in the late 90's and we ran hundreds of samples a day from individual prospectors and many junior mining companies who were sending core samples from exploration claims in Northwestern Ontario. I loved the chemistry and science behind what we were doing. Ahhhh... the memories!
Those convection cells as the mixture cools are absolutely amazing! Fantastic detail and a great vid all round! :)
It’s always fascinating to watch different smelting processes, after working in an aluminum recycling facility where we used salt and potash, sometimes cryolite for flux and we also used a rotary style furnace. Cool to see the same principles in different concepts!
I live the geology and prospecting life on UA-cam thanks to guys like you both. 👍🏻If I wasn’t swinging a hammer, it would surely be a pick axe.
Thanks for giving us a time stamp Jason. Appreciate your videos! 👍👍👍
Im new subscriber to Dan Hurd, and there is something about Dan i really like, his energy, eyes when we talks and just the really great personality.
I don't usually watch longer videos, but this one is definitely worth watching.
BTW I just experienced Dan Hurd in full glory. What a human. I'm a subscriber now. Keep at it guys, love it.
Dood is a Full Metal Alchemist for sure! Love both these guys channels! Love it when they team up!
In 1970 or ‘71 I met a man who had three quart Mason jars full of dust and nuggets. Not bad for one man working on his own property with nothing but a Long Tom sluice. I know he had three quarts because he showed them to me. Gold is wherever you find it!
Awesome video here bud processing the samples from Mr Dan Hurd. And definitely awesome job on the multiple videos from the sampling to the smelting process from Dan's claim in B. C. Definitely worth watching it again.
It's great to see you two together.
I love the collaboration between you two gentlemen. You compliment each other well, ever increasing the entertainment! Keep up the fun stuff guys!
43:26 That is one of the coolest looking things that I've never seen before
Thank you both. I watch both your videos, and enjoy the adventures. Also all the knowledge you both give.
he is correct. The MBMM equipment is the best minimg separation equipment in America. our mills and shaker tables have run 6 years with no problems. They still look damn good to this day.
Great minds working together.... with the exception of Dan leaving Jason walking "... there goes Dan up the hill there..." Come on DAN!
Bravo and its so nice to have such well done videos from BOTH of you guys!!
Love how you made the entire process continuous, logical, well videoed and documented, and taking the time to insert explanations help a good deal. bravo. weird fracture/rupture on that last sample, eh? I cringe when I see u use water pumps to pour molten lava; maybe think that out.
Awesome video. It’s great to see you guys together. Hope to see more in the future. Thanks Dan and Jason 🍻👍
Awesome collaboration! Really enjoyed these two videos you guys made! 👍
Awesome guys! I have been waiting for this vid, this channel is full of great content! Nice gear!
I love how you showed the entire detailed process! Awesome video
just wow!! amazing work done! Great video, I really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing
That was really interesting, you definitely got another subscriber. Thanks for doing this, I really enjoyed it.
The smelting bit is so fascinating! Thanks for the explanation and demo :D
Thanks for everything in this video. You guy did the thing I have been hoping for in all of the mine exploration videos on UA-cam. You actually took the samples and did some real mining. And answered my question of is there anything left in these old mines. Apparently there is!
Love how you take the time to explain how the Table works
Very good collaboration. I hope you guys do more videos in the future. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the time stamp I sub to you both and had already seen the first part!😊
Great video gents! Appreciate hearing the depth of knowledge !
Nice video. Enjoyed watching the whole process. Ty For sharing
I can see why Gold Mining is so addictive. It's like a Slot Machine Gambling. You never know when the payout is going to occur, the reward is much greater than the money put in, the reward is instant when it occurs. “variable-ratio reinforcement schedule.”
So much knowledge here you guys rock Dan and Jason
watching that sample cool was absolutely beautiful! thank you!
great video, I finally understand the table. seeing the sulfides helped!
Another awesome video Jason. Great job.
19:36 the wall on the left side of the portal has a man sittin down looking in
man, i missed part one... subscribed now. been following for a few months since i fell in love with the shaker-table. been watching dan for at least a year or two. excited for the colab :)

@41:32 The *FINAL COOLDOWN!!* (damn I wish we could attach a tiny mp3 so I could be a dork about an old song!)
Cool video Jason. Love the colab with you and Dan
A very cool collaboration ...
Now, to wait for Dan's production of the several days production.
Looking forward to it ...well after I ride the Duffy lake loop that is.
I've enjoyed both channels over the last few years....glad to see Y'all share your wealth of knowledge.
Me too, I have been following mbmm for like 7 years and dan for about 5
Your knowledge is amazing , I really enjoy watching your channel
Dude! Your movable splitter is just genius! Well done! Just an awesome simple idea that can make a big difference. 👏👏👏 I hope i can make a upgrade from the dolly pot. Lol. Have to start somewhere. Great vid!
Wow. What a setup with those crushers and shaker. Very efficient. That's awesome results from just small samples. I can only imagine what is in that entire claim. Nice
Thank you very much for the videos, you provide very clear information, greetings from Turkey.
Great video guys, very interesting!
That. Last melt looked like the surface of the sun!
What a wo nderful life. A must 13 week camp trip for the fun and maybe a little gold.. I love camping fishing and probably looking for gold.. A must..
Thanks Jason, now off to watch Dan’s video!
The remelt and showing that pattern flow was cool
That view from the top of the final pour was amazing
It would be really cool if you were interested in coming to ga where I am . I live in the Georgia GoldBelt which is where the original "gold rush" took place. The county I live in has over 500 registered mines and was extremely rich. We have a huge amount of quartz and awesome quartz veins all around my house that makes for awesome prospecting. Running some of this material through your system would be awesome and would shed light on how rich the area actually still is. on a hard rock scale which is something I don't have the means to do here. Great videos and keep up the good work. Enjoy it immensely!!.
Gooood morning from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great day!
Man I wish the internet was around when I was young, in shape, and prospecting here in California, what a wealth of valuable material to learn from off the internet for budding young prospectors these days. Really cool video 👍
Greetings from the BIG SKY. You get as much as you find. I understand the plain on Pluto much better seeing that smelt cool.
Thank you, loved it!
Oooooh, how much gold does Dan Hurd have in 'these samples'! Not how much gold does Dan Hurd have! :D
Glad you clarified that early in the video :)
Awesome! Thanks Jason, I learnt a lot. 👍😉🇨🇦
You live in Washington!? Me too! I found Dan today and I watched a couple of his videos and immediately got recommended your channel. I think I might try some of this, been googling for an hour or 2 and I have no idea where to start. Maybe I'll just go to the beach and start looking around haha
This was awsome thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Thanks Jason. 👍
You got my attention on your channel by your friendship with Dan. He's a good guy in a business that you don't find men like him. You have my subscription because of that.
You wont be disappointed. There's a lot of fascinating content here.
Very comprehensive guys , from go too woe , excellent stuff . 👍✌✅
That's rad. Killer set up
2 of my favorite UA-cam Gold-getters! 😍 So happy to see you guys making great content together! Keep crushing, shaking and catching that shiney!
Thanks for the bids!
I never even gave rocks a thought, but now im learning about the Earth thru both of you. Now i pick up rocks and check for viens or foot walls , Hanging walls 😅. Actually learning.
Thanks boys for knowledge.
P.j. signs Calif.
Thank you for explaining the geology of the area you were working in.
Jason thank you for taking us along with you
Great collaboration.
I sure wish I was able to prospect for gold. Unfortunately I've been in a wheel chair for many years. I watch all this with great interest and longing to be able to do such things.
Why has this just now come across my suggestions??? This is so interesting! New subscriber here!
My Grandad used to reckon he could tell gold country by the trees (in frontier Australia).. Geologists are sampling vegetation across Australia now and finding minerals by the plant signatures. Boy you guys work hard for your gold and its not high quality or great at the end. So much dirt worked for so little. Hats off to ya. Great videos, cheers
Love these collabs. Both of you are simply awesome to watch. Still need jeff Williams
Y'all gotta come down to Colorado and prospect here! Lots of gold in the Rockies!
dan is such a kindred spirit, i adore him and his family ❤️
Such a neat process.
Great teamwork!
I actually found your channel by watching Dan. Excited to see you guys collaborate.
