We want to share the monthly expenses to give you an idea how it is like living in Canada in terms of basic commodities such as renting or home mortgage, electricity, cable TV, internet, mobile plan, food/groceries, auto/car loan, gas, transportation, insurance, etc.
*Please note that the current (as of 2023) minimum wage in Manitoba is $13.50 per hour.

Average car tank
Minneapolis 18.5 gallons x $2.90= $53.65 Gals. (same full tank) / $14.25 (min. wage)= 3.76 hours of work (after school shift)
Winnipeg 70 litres x 1.239(/L)= $86.73 (fill up) / $11.90 min. wage = 7.29 hours of work at Mc D's to fill her tank (fulltime needed)
Not bad compared to BC!! BTW I love The Peg in June puffy clouds and super green fields
I can see why people here in Toronto migrate there! 2 bd ranges from 1850 and up. Sometimes not including hydro. Not to mention a 500k house here is either a small condo or about 3-6 hours away from Toronto. Ang dami ng nalulunod sa utang. Also gas right now is at 1.80, umabot pa yan ng 2.25 few months ago.

Can you recommend us anong mga safest places na pwede naming malilipatan and not far from the Airport let say 20-30 mins from point A to point B at saka may malapit na elementary and secondary school. Hello. Diversified po and economy dito, madaming work, meron sa health care, retail, manufacturing and IT. Outside the city naman usually mga butchers. Hope this helps!

They offer 0%interest 0 down but it will depend on your credit rating. Lower credit rating would get you 4-10% APR

I think same company ung Sunlife dyan at dito but not 100% sure pero mas ok kung dito na kumuha kc iba po ang rates at coverage dito at madaming insurance company na pwede pgpilian.

Hi, we’ll give you an example. Let’s say you are on a minimum wage ($11.65/hr), you’ll take home around $1200 per month. If you have a partner that also earns the same thing, that will be a total of $2400 per month. So it is still feasible to cover your expenses. If you are earning higher than minimum wage or you do OTs or extra jobs, even better😊

Yes, 5% is the minimum, but there are extra mortgage costs (PMI) that is required if you do less than 20% down payment. It is recommended to do 20%.

Iba iba po every province pero dito s Manitoba, minimum wage is $13.50/hr and next yr it will increase to $15.
For average salary naman, nakadepende po un sa type of work or industry na papasukan nyo.
