It's time for LT outdoors. Glad you went after them. Saginaw bay can be a tuff nut to crack but I love the thrill of the hunt. When you get out deep that's where you'll find those 15-16" 2.5 lb perch this time of year.

Need to jig closer to bottom and less aggressively when they are finicky.

They don't even look at it when you slow it down. We both had dead sticks down there and tip ups, they get tight lipped

Did you try a 5mm tungsten with a little plastic like that DMR? Seeing them all come in, look, and leave make me wonder if they'd eat something that looks small and helpless.

Tried lots of things that day and even had dead stick minnows down. Some days they arent as active. And I had lots of them actually attack the lure so I was doing things right
