He died 75 years ago today. He was the best President of the 20th Century. A very complex man. A man who was a leader in every since of the word. He was not always right and he was hated and disliked, but he was a leader in every since of the world. All Presidents that came after him are just footnotes to history. Thank you FDR! I wish you were President now.

FDR: one of the best heroes in my list. He was the guy who brought faith back into this country. Other heroes in my list are napoleon, winston churchill, ghandi, martin luther king, and sam houston

@cj62392 How can you say that! He led us out of the Depression, led us on two fronts during WWII, and as a testament to that, he was elected four times!
yea, FDR did so much for our country, served in the navy, created all the acts to get us out of the great depression. Led us right through ww2. Many sources precive FDR differently but no matter what he was a great man.

Actually, having watched a lot of 'America The Story of Us' over at Amazon, I know for a fact that the episode about WWII never once mentioned FDR by name.
It was such a glaring omission that this was not included in the 9th episode of America: The Story Of Us: Bust. Is there a reason it wasn't part of the finished installment?
