Great lesson
Awesome! Glad you liked it. Thanks so much for your comment!
Great info, thanks for this.
I'm not terrible at this. But good either. But when I pull off. More so on a few fingers in succession. I end up with my index finger bending as a result. Going slow again and seeing it creeping in quite often. Is it just weak fingers? Or is there a better way to fix this?
Hey Scott! Thanks for asking. One thing that can help is having your guitar properly set up. Make sure the height of the strings is comfortable and the gauge you are using is not too heavy. Always try to keep the tip of your fingers like a little hammer to avoid the bending and your thumb at the back of the fretboard so that you have a good grip. Try to keep relaxed and don't grow tension while doing the pulloff. Let me know if this works for you and hope the tips helped. Thanks again for commenting.
all vids about pull off on youtube...flick! flick! flick!
My fretting fingers 🤌 are very weak. I try learn it almost over a week right now but I just can't sound right. I know tension will kill speed but when I try to loosing my fingers, the result will worst.
Hi Jeffrey. I understand what you are saying. Try practicing slowly at first. This is something that takes time and consistency is the key. Don't be too hard on yourself and give it some time. Also make sure your guitar is set up properly and the strings aren't too far away from the fretboard. Have you tried using a lighter string gauge? Hope this helps and any questions please feel free to ask.
@@stinemusiclessons Thanks for answering my difficulty. Your input is very logical and yes, after I checking my guitar I realized that my strings are too far away from the freeboard and probably I using a wrong string gauge.
I will take my guitar for repairation and use a lighter gauge. 👍👍👍👍
