These are awesome. I went Whale Watching last fall in Nova Scotia - Brier Island - it was fabulous. The whales are such beautiful animals - I really enjoyed seeing them in the wild.
Dear Emma, it was so relaxing and fun to do, thank you so much for sharing.🙂 Could you please show how to paint an owl in such a loose style?🙏Thank you!
Just wish i had your drawing/eye skills. Ugh. I purchased some tracing paper recently but . .. anyway. I'm painting this one, as many others I've gleaned from you, for my grandsons across the country away. Thanks!
Hi Emma! these little whales are really beautiful and adorable! I haven’t painted whales yet, but I always think I should, especially with watercolors. Instead of a whale, I painted an illustration of a little alien as my new OC: D now I will have another extra inspiration for painting whales ;) They are beautiful! thank you for sharing! Hav a wondrful day! Marija💖😍💖
This is a great idea! I often find myself wanting to paint or draw, but just having no inspiration whatsoever. Very frustrating situation 😅 The whales look super cute, I really like your style. They would look beautiful as illustration's in a children's book, I think.
I know you have painted hundreds of flowers, images, and things. I’m wondering if you might want to branch out to scenes? For me I paint because I want to paint the things around me that I love. The wildflowers in the mountains, the cute food cart on the corner of my city street, the fall leaves and trees at fall, the field of dandelions, a Robin sitting in my yard on the picket fence. I love painting things as I go on vacations and as I see beautiful things that inspire me. Do you ever have the desire to paint things like that? I can’t imagine running out of things or ideas to paint. Thank you for sharing your whales with us! Wet in wet is definitely a fun way to paint! It is not my favorite finished painting though. I prefer doing wet on dry and charging in a little extra color to let my colors mingle together and create their magic. I’m hope these whales have helped to inspire you! Maybe you could give us an updated tour of your office and some ideas for organizing supplies. It’s always so inspiring to see how creative others are. Art hauls are fun too! Show us new paint and supplies you’ve gotten. Do a sketchbook comparison to show us how and why you like each one. I’d like a detailed video about brushes too. I know you love Princeton but it looks like you’re using a mop brush today?
Thanks doll, i enjoyed following your tutorial.
