The clearcoat peel on mirror caps and shark fin and the white discoloration on the air vent slats are typical for the age and mileage. The air vent discoloration won't be solved with any rub on treatments (they'll make it a little better but only for a while). I ended up disassembling mine and vinyl wrapping the slats, others have painted them. You probably already know about BMWs and oil leaks so carefully check the oil pan, the valve cover, and the oil filter housing gasket (which, although the easiest to fix is potentially the most likely to cause catastrophic failure if left unresolved - oil dips down onto belt, belt slips off and is sucked in though the front seal and bye-bye engine). I have a 2011 128i in Crimson Red, 6MT, that I picked up 2-3 years ago and have been bringing back to its glory days. Good luck with this one!
That's a really nice spec. If the suspension is rust free & no gaskets are leaking then all you got to fix is cosmetic exterior stuff.
Yeah it was a great deal.

Nice
I’m stoked about it for sure. That’s a lot of car for $3500.
It is a really good deal for 3500 bucks
