- We're off to Trago Mills in Merthyr today - in fact, we going to have some lunch there in the restaurant before heading into the store for lots of browsing. I end up doing lots of Christmas shopping!!

We’re in Cornwall at the mo and our weather sounds identical to yours...sun...nope, cloud...no, here comes the sun...ah clouds back! Nice driving tour with IB!
Ha ha ha! I need to remember to stop filming with the sun ahead as it makes the footage really hard to sort out afterwards. But I can’t tell where the sun is often, when it’s cloudy. The camera knows though and plays up accordingly.
So interesting to see what Trago Mills looks like I've only ever seen it from a coach when I went on a trip a few years ago. We also said that it looked liked a castle- no wonder we couldn't work out what it was 😂

Wow.. big piece of fish, and it looked delicious too. That is one humongous store !! It would take hours to shop in there. I would spend my time in the crafting section, and the candle section, if there was one, and hubby would be in the tool section.

Trago Mills, the place to shop and to exercise the limbs - fit an Airbus plane inside the main building. Used to be a brickworks; I also lived just above Trago Mills ! Didn't have time to call into the retail park nearby, did you - that is nearly always packed!

Trago car park backs onto my garden, before they built it we had lovely peaceful mountains to go walking on, now all I can hear all day long is the store tannoy 😔

Some years ago I was in a huge place like that store and spied a little mouse scurrying around. I wonder if they had come from the food section? Today was Thanksgiving day. I had to stay home due to a ten-day ailment after being to the doctor twice. I like seeing all the Christmas items. We had a one-day freak freeze. High was 32F and low by morning 17F. Rest of the week is warmer than normal.

That was a huge store! Happy Thanksgiving from Ohio! I have made 3 large dishes to take to my daughter's later. All the kids, grandkids and some company will be there. Thanks for sharing. Oh, I am the same way about finding things to buy for people for birthdays or Christmas. I'm thinking cash this year. We buy for 22 people. Too many! Those are all immediate family!

Trago Mills is an American-sized shopping center like I don't normally see in the UK. It is over 23,000 square meters in size. I would be right at home there. It would be like being in the American stores, Sam's Club or Costco. Never considered the Brits to be conspicuous consumers like we are. You guys tend to be more restrained and frugal. Today is Thanksgiving for us, a day to be grateful.

Goodness, that was a lot of traffic circles in Merthyr. We have a few in town, and I avoid them like the plague. There's always someone either going the wrong way, changing lanes without signaling or entering into the circle and hitting someone. I tell you, it's chaos. hahaha. We've only had them for the past 5 years or so, and people just don't know how to use them. In fact, the city had a "training" night to show people how to use a traffic circle properly.. hahaha.
We call traffic circles ‘roundabouts’. There’s a fabulous word in Welsh too but it’s a whopper and I don’t imagine you’d know where to start with pronouncing it - Chwyrligwgan. It sound a bit like ‘kwerly-goo-gan’ except with a noise at the start more like the G in Gouda (cheese).
I'm scared of paper and Styrofoam cups. No way I'll use one.
