First I thought this was scale modelling I thought it was very interesting to watch . I'm ignoring the negative comments. Anything in woodworking is exciting to watch in person or out a window. Not boring but action on a job sight I love it!👍👍😀
bad idea. since the wheelloader cant dump as precise as the...... well i just name it excavator since i dont know the correct term in english. And you have to load a ship evenly so it doesnt tip over.
Yes there is....you can buy a very expensive conveyor System that can basically just load(and not even every material........but then you still need a material handler to unload ships......(i dont know why he moves the MH so slow tho
But......1.who fills the conveyor.......2.conveyors are expensive and can not unload.....3.these material handlers are actually quite efficient(when operated faster)
Peter Young To be efficient a good operator will know where his next pick will be. He is wasting cycle time by going to opposite sides as you can see him looking where to grab for his next pick every time.
ED BERRY, so by your logic, bringing the weight of the upper structure to a complete stop and then moving back in the other direction is more efficient than just swinging through when dumpling the grab into the ship. And there I was thinking he was a good operator by eliminating the wear on the rotate brake and motor, and saving fuel and time by changing his swing direction half as often as he would be by loading from one side only. Thanks for cleaning that up.
grant ryan he is stopping on his back swing on the left looking where to grab. It's just how Cat Factory Trainers have explained it to be more efficient look and know where your next bucket is coming from when your taken the present scoop. Grabbing @ 4:30 7::30 for most production

"Smooth Operator" !
Make a ramp so the 580 can just dump the load into the ship directly

@@Madhuntr materials handler
I'll take that job any day
That looks like the most inefficient way to load a ship ever.
How would you do it?
Not

I could imagine less efficient ways to do it which may or may not violate anti-slavery and child labour laws
I would think there is a more efficient way to load the chip carrier
Legend has it, they are still loading.

Like filling a swimming pool with an eye dropper
A
I could use a boatload of that!
These guys need a conveyor system.
No shit. Or raise the dock holding system and have a gravity feed.
But......1.who fills the conveyor.......2.conveyors are expensive and can not unload.....3.these material handlers are actually quite efficient(when operated faster)
Not efficiency cost and time.
I would go nuts with boredom
🙄
What a waste of time & money
talking going backward, there are faster and easier ways to load that vessel...
Bet this guy has never operated a machine before
what exactly is he doing wrong
