@EricDraven-ci8wi thats the realistic part tho. Older armour with steel plates is heavy. Rifle, ammo (which is like 300-400 rounds at least irl), grenades, ifak, water just this basic stuff WEIGHT's. Often a backpack with anything job requires. You get tired just from walking with all that. And the machingunners carry even more weight, must be SRONG to do their job. Excellent gameplay and good start. Even though it is still not finalized, I'd say this awesome game is better than recent Black Ops 6, obviously, and it is one of the most realistic tac-shooting games where you do not run and gun and go Rambo around. Needless to say, this is no Call of Duty or Battlefield. I said this before but I say again that the graphics and effects look great. One of the most interesting features of this game is the "Procedural Architecture", that the map re-shapes and randomizes most of the buildings and parked vehicles in the urban area, which makes players experience and explore the unfamiliar environment with enemies hiding in random position that you are hunting in every single place, much like in the actual battle. This mechanic is something what other FPS game should do, be it campaign or multiplayer. For the interviews in the end, I know how they feel for being the point man to go first and it does sound like a Russian Roulette just as what Cpl. Calderon says, chances is the unlucky one might take the bullet. So this game is no joke, you be prepared for whatever you might face, and always watch your and comrades' back.
I see your point and I agree, but can't really compare Black oooops 6 to this game. They're not in the same class, one's a tac shooter, and ones just a poorly made arcade shooter.
That is so interesting to see how you did it. I totally skipped the house on the right to the 50 Cal. I fell back into the house and ordered my guys for suppression fire from the roof top on the right and went to the left side to peak so I could get a shot at the gunner. After that went down through the red smoke and finished the fleeing guys.
I love that there is finally a resurgence of tac shooters with pve and that can be played solo with controllable AI squads. Ubisoft took Rainbow 6 and Ghost Recon so far away from its roots to some weird over the top tech and ridiculous menu systems. It seemed like the industry forgot how satisfying things like Rainbow 6 Terrorist Hunt could be. Now with games like Ready Or Not, 6 Days In Fallujah, Zero Hour and a few others the revival is in full swing.
