- Get ready for a jam-packed Universal Orlando update vlog, including lots of updates coming to the park, PLUS our 2024 Halloween Horror Nights Stay & Scream guide and tour! In this vlog, I'll share some of the exciting updates and new additions to Universal Orlando with you: what's new & what's coming, new shops, experiences, Epic Universe related news, new passholder buttons and more, and then we'll take you into Halloween Horror Nights 2024 to do Stay & Scream, show you what's new and different about how it works this year, and of course share some of our fun HHN 33 night with you!
We'll explore exciting news and updates coming to Universal Orlando Resort, from the brand-new Wicked: The Experience launching this October, to the epic CityWalk store expansion coming in 2025 with Wizarding World of Harry Potter, including Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World and Epic Universe updates, saying goodbye to the Hello Kitty store, plus cool new things like a massive Wild Robot photo op, new Diagon Alley 10 year anniversary passholder UOAP buttons and more! We will also stay into the evening and share our Halloween Horror Nights 2024 Stay & Scream guide, full tour of this year's areas! We'll share tips, navigate the changes for 2024, and soak up the amazing atmosphere of HHN 33, going through some of our favorite houses, including Insidious, Ghostbusters, Goblin's Feast and Major Sweets Candy Factory! I'll also show you inside this year's HHN themed Dead Coconut Club in CityWalk, with an 80s synth vampire birthday party on the first floor, and really cool Blumhouse photo ops on the second! (oh and a bonus heat lightning storm).

I legitimately can't _believe_ that Diagon Alley has been open for more than a DECADE 😱 I feel like it was just yesterday that we were staring up at that dragon for the first time! I also find myself wishing that every theme park offered a 'stay and scream' sort of holding area like Halloween Horror Nights does. We hate having to leave a park and re-enter if we've set our minds to doing a day of rides and a night of scares. Love the Wild Robot photo op, too! That movie looked a lot better after the trailer than it did as a concept pitch, I think we're definitely going to try to see it, wherever we can squeeze it in 😂 Great guide, Jackie! Happy Hauntings!
I can’t believe it either like 10 years!!!!! I remember it opening too, doesn’t feel that long ago 😭😭😭 and yes omg people don’t realize how good of a deal stay and scream is and how much u can do!! I can’t even believe they still do it tbh, and wish every nighttime theme park event did something like it. 🧡

I tried it out for the first time last year and ended up baking in the sun bc I had no clue that you didn't have to get in one of the house lines. Instead, you can get a drink and find somewhere to sit, and then get in line closer to opening
Ah I appreciate this bc I feel like no one explains it right or really gives all the options and ways to do it clearly, so I really tried my best! And it’s changed this year so much that I hope this helps some folks to make the most of it. 💕💕💕💕 thank you so much!

I always tell everyone, Stay n Scream is the way to go! especially without Express. You can cover so much ground, at least 2 to 4 houses before the event even opens. Its so worth it! I always do the NY section. Having Louies and Finnegans is a total bonus, especially if it starts raining before the houses open. Also, being the first ones at the food booths, like Ghostbuster, and getting the popular IP houses done first, saves so much time for the rest of the night. Wearing sunglasses is key for proper eye adjustment 100%, I'll even close my eyes before entering Lol!...I miss HHN! I may have to look at flights for one more go around Lol. Until then, I'm counting on my Super Enthused friend to bring me virtually 😁
Tonight we’re back and we’ve done 6 houses so far and it’s only 6:30pm right now, using stay and scream!

I am heading to the fun in October and have the early scream. You can accomplish alot before the gate opens up. Plus express you can do your favorite houses again

The bird is an osprey. They hang around bodies of water and scoop up fish with their talons. You’ll often see them nesting on high structures like parking lot lights. When building Velocicoaster, they had a problem with one nesting on the track.

Thank you for the video, going next sat with stay and scream- no express but planning on staying til 2am. Mentally prepared for a lot of chill/ food / drink time when the waits jump around 9-10pm. Thinking NY may be our best bet for s&s
That’s the best bet 100% mid-evening break when lines are longest, with show, food and drinks!

I wanted to know your preference in which stay and scream has the most shade if you're going to wait in line during stay and scream!! It was extremely hot last year when we were in the Springfield stay and scream area!! Love your videos and how much you have fun!!!
Deepening on time and where the sun is, there’s a little shade in the back of the world expo line, there’s none at all in the New York one (except maybe for a brief moment behind some buildings). I’d count on being in the blasting sun in either line to be safe, and bring umbrella, cold drinks, maybe little fans too. If you plan to get directly into the house lines rather than wait in the shade somewhere.

😂😂😂 truthfully yes I am not that hyped about food and wine festival this year, or about eating all that food. I will do it soon tho, the people deserve it! Maybe it will surprise me. I used to love this festival, but it’s become meh tbh. We’ll see, I’ll go investigate!
The bird @28:17 is an osprey. They are HUGE. I often get them mixed with bald eagles. I have to focus on the colors. Gulf side Floridians see so many a day. lol

Yea, it worked out amazing this night. The lighting was cool but the rain hit after we left. We went again the next night (last night) and got 6 houses done before 7:30pm (since I wasn’t filming, we could move faster haha). Stay and scream is amazing.

Jackie we are gonna try to go to HHN in November. What do you think about lines and if it’s worth going? I’m hoping for cooler weather as well. It’s just so hot in September and October.
I see this year they’re open until Nov 3, so you maybe Nov 1-3, or somewhere in that window? I can’t speak for this year and u never know, but it is USUALLY amazing those days with smaller crowds and lovely weather. We looooove going the few days after Halloween when they stay open. Now then, usually when something is too good and everyone finds out about it, it becomes crowded haha! So I can’t guarantee for this year, but yea past years those days have been golden.

I'm glad you're showing us all the ins and outs, do's and dont's, but to be honest I'm really confused. Should you stay there multiple days to experience all of it? 'Cause it doesn't seem plausible for an older couple like us to be able to traverse the park to see more then just one area.
So honestly it really depends what you want to do. If you’re also doing the parks, yes I’d recommend multiple days. This is more just to navigate HHN’s unique offering to start experiencing the event early and how it can benefit your night. But in general, there are a million ways to visit the theme parks. For HHN alone, sure u can do it all in one night if one night is all you can swing, but I’d recommend multiple nights if u can, so that way you can do things at a reasonable pace and have time to redo things you loved.
Those pumpkin stacks reminded me of Dollywood. Where I'm at, it also has been hot, humid. Feels like summer returned. I had to fast forward thru this video's HHN stuff. Not for me. I do look forward to the day the new lands at Universal are open and you take us on a tour. That day can't arrive fast enough.
Jackie, I HIGHLY suggest that you plan on the final night of HHN to check out the final 1230 show for Nightmare Fuel. It's absolute insanity and so funnnnn!

But you gotta be there around 9-930pm to line up for it and make it part of your night. It will make a good video. Trust! That's all I will say🤫
I have def included Nightmare Fuel in past HHN vids, just not this year yet, but we have watched it this year, just didn’t film it. I go to HHN many nights throughout the season without vlogging, just to enjoy it. We’ve been attending for years and love it! I love how many of us HHN fans have our different traditions for enjoying the final evening of the event! 🎃

wear an eye patch over one eye for about 10 - 15 min before you go into a house (don't remove it until you are inside and dark) if you have to stand in the sun. There will be a big difference in what you can see!
This image is kinda funny!! But keeping your sunglasses on up until the last possible minute has worked good for me to help adjust eyes to the dark for years so I’ll stick to that! 😎

So the New York one does let u into it, but it doesnt open as early as the other houses. I think it opened at 5:45pm. So still early, but not AS early.
