    I have a 3500 predator great little generator, also run 2 Honda generators 2200 inverter and a older 4500 which has 110 / 220 volts so I can run my well pump cause I am 400' down running a 3/4 hp pump !
    Great channel ! Love your videos ! Thanks for sharing your time with us !
    Be safe and GOD BLESS YOU & FAMILY !!

      Hi 👋 -10 here this morning, was a cold night for sure. Got BIG snow coming this weekend, not sure if it’s that south but we’re looking at almost 2’ on Sunday. I’ve replaced all of our older generators with inverter/generators because of their quietness and fuel consumption. I can see how you’d need a larger one for your well pump. Our well is 220’ but our pump is only down 100’, we use a low wattage solar pump that works great.
      Thank you for the kind words and support! 😊

    Nice new generator. I have a Pulsar GD400BN 4000/3200. I plan to use it to top off my lithium batteries.

    Like Andy says from Andy's Little Homestead... "if you're going to buy Chinese, you might as well pay Chinese prices." But I absolutely LOVE Harbor Freight!!!

    Make sure you have enough ventilation so that the Carbon Monoxide sensor doesn’t shut the generator off… I just bought the 8750 inverter from Harbor Freight and love it!!

      @@rodneygetchell That’s a great point that I should’ve covered. The back of the shed has an opening for the exhaust and the front door is vented. Thanks for the support! 😊

    Big fan of champion ! Have one that’ll run the whole show with electric start and a smaller 2500 that’s the equivalent of a Honda but with a. Little more juice and super quiet and one hand carry. Great and informative video as always. Take care

    Ive been buying stuff from harbor freight for 30+ years and still have many of those tools in good working order. One of which is a 4"grinder that is finnaly on its last legs but was bought in 1997 during my stint in the USMC at Cherry point. Ive put THOUSANDS of disks through that thing and the bearing is just now giving up. Well worth the money. We use predator gens on every hunting/fishing trip and ill use one to charge my solar as you do as soon as we move up! As for the workshop filling up, Im not sure a shop has ever been built thats "big enough" 🤣

    I have a harber freight air comp... did some research... it might pay off to run it for an hour then change the oil... could be crud in oil pan that could mess it up.... better sage than sorry.... good luck

    I have a champion 4500w inverter generator with remote start at our offgrid cabin. I love the remote start. How many hours on yours? At 99hrs money wouldnt start due to needing a valve adjustment.

    • @HanbleceyaRanch
      @HanbleceyaRanch  3 години тому

      We’re at ~750hrs on it. Haven’t had any issues with it other than twice being late on the oil changes 🤦‍♂️

    I bought a 5kw first, after you run it down to 80% or 4kw now you only have 80A for charge, my 9kw running at 6200w I get 60hrz steady 125A charge, in order for me to get a full Gen charge I need a 15kw running at 12000w 10kw charge 2kw home load. Any gen at the right draw will get 60hrz, but turn off surge loads while charging, don't forget that visible note that says "FRIDGE!!!". Running the gen off a big LPG tank is luxury, no gas cans, fill delivery, clean motor and mine was just fine at -27F, under 120gal you might get cold problems. Next door has a champion 4500 but there 12v system only charges at 300w I am surprised how many days that gen runs on 1 tank, at 6200w my 9kw burns a gal per hour or 1% of my 123gal, not too bad when you only run it 80mins on a dark day. Oversize your gen, lasts longer and more options for power. BEWARE Amazon LPG 10' ft hose with no gauge, that super cheap one, leaks like an open valve lost 4gal in 1-hour, dummy gauge one so far is fine.

      Thank you for sharing! I’ll spend a bit more time looking into the propane side as opposed to fuel. Sounds like it’ll pay off in the end. Thanks! 😊

    My only comment is why won’t you consider propane? If you had 500 to 1000 gallon tank of propane you would certainly have ample fuel on hand. Propane never spoils, never causes carburetor or fuel injection issues, much cleaner fuel for small engines. Far less carbon issues. I have two inverters running on propane. I never once thought about going back to gasoline. Even though both inverters can use it. Do you use non ethanol (recreational gasoline) fuel? 87 octane gasoline causes a lot headaches for small engines.
    Thank you,
