    I don't think Capaldi gives himself enough credit (or he's just being humble). He may be (far) more popular than he's ever been as an actor, but I'm sure there are more than a handful of people who came to love Dr. Who because he is the Doctor and not just the other way around.

    He just has this presence about him, which makes everything he says interesting. Honestly, watching him I sometimes think that if he was in a room with people, after a while everyone would just gravitate around him because he has that fascinating, captivating ... thing about him. Wow. That was eloquent.

    Wow! I love it when older folk who don't realize what intrigue, fun and immersion video games can provide start to see what they are capable of and embrace it! If anyone can for from knowing nothing about games to becoming a pro, it's Peter.

    Peter Capaldi's articulation and passion for storytelling and Doctor Who is such a treat, especially in a world where art is gravitating towards slap-dash work and instant gratification. You can't help but respect people who believe in what they're professing.

    We need way more Peter Capaldi Doctor Who Episodes, to me David Tennant and Matt Smith are the Doctor Who's of today. We need to see more Peter Capaldi for that to change.

      Well he's only did one series
      Math wasn't very popular until series 6 when they did a huge deal with BBC American and really promoted the show in the U.S.

    I have to disagree with his statement when he says that people are crazy about Doctor Who and not the actor themself. I absolutely love Peter Capaldi because of Doctor Who and just watching more of his work. Same with David Tennant!! Absolutely love them both and am so happy to see him in the LEGO world!!

    This is weird because i didn't like how they (the writers of the show) made his version of doctor so.... pessimistic and angry.
    But i do like peter himself, he cares verry much about the character and like every actor (well, it should be every actor) he sees himself only as an extension of the directors and writers vision.

    • @archive9796

      +NIELS MICHIELS They were very angry for entire series. Especially 1 and 6, more so than 9. 4 and 7 were pretty angry most the time too, but they were spaced out by slapstick humor in a very similar fashion to how Capaldi's Doctor is. .

    It's not "Dr." it's "Doctor". You can't use it like. That's his NAME !!!

    • @anonymes2884
      @anonymes2884 9 років тому

      ***** Yep. Apparently David Tennant specifically requested to be credited as The Doctor because "his" Doctor was Peter Davison, the first to be credited that way. Before him they'd either been Dr. Who or Doctor Who.
      Having got used to the new convention though (Davison is "my" Doctor too) I must say it still does jar slightly when Peter Capaldi refers to himself as playing Doctor Who. It's just what you're used to.

  • @edwardbourke4328
    @edwardbourke4328 9 років тому

      Yeah David Tennant and Matt Smith's Doctor Who's were better.

    • @Dixavd
      @Dixavd 9 років тому +2

      Edward Bourke That's never going to happen. There's a reason the doctor never appeared on Torchwood - they designed Torchwood to be a darker show aimed at adults, and the Doctor has always been aimed to children since the 60s. They know young people follow whatever the Doctor appears in, so they didn't let him over to Torchwood. That spin off was their way of using that world to tell these others stories. Doctor Who has never and will never be dark (if it reached the point that they needed to do that, it would be cancelled anyway).
