Wow!!! Another fabulous video !!!! Congratulations, excelent job. I couldn't expect less. Full of details and information we can't find on other videos. Very Helpful and useful!!! I saw that the Baldachino is on restauration. Do have any idea when this restoration will be over? I'm going at the end of november and would be a pity noy to be able to see all the baldachino beauty. No words are enough to THANK YOU!!!!! 🙂🙂🙂 cheers 🙂🙂🙂

Yes, your eyes are sharp😯! The Baldchino is under restoration during March. I guess it should be ok by Nov. Some Baldchino photos you saw on the video belongs to my previous trip many years ago.
The latest reports said that the Pieta is under restoration now. But they have a replica of the Pieta on display. The 3 fountains at Navona Square are also covered up too. The Jubilee Year starts on 24 Dec 24, hopefully by Nov most of the restoration works are completed.
Really appreciate your kind words, I hope the videos can help viewers not just to navigate through Rome and appreciate the artworks but also understand the histories behind them and their importance. Thank You 😀

@@3dsphotography110 Thanks for your prompt reply!!!! 🙂Yes I've heard Rome is under a lot of restorations due to the Jubille. I hope I'll be able to see all these monuments without the scaffolds. And of course I love your videos not only for helping me navigate better, but also because they are full of details, historical and architectural. A complete and magnificent work, which takes time to study and prepare the proper material to join in the videos. Highly appreciated !!!! Can't wait to watch your Florence videos, which I also be going a few days before Rome. I'm going first to Barcelona, then Paris and then, Milan, Venice, Florence, Pisa and Rome. Lots of fantastic places to see and appreciate. Thnaks again for your kindness, taking your time to reply my messages. Cheers !!! 🙂🙂🙂

@@andrewilner wow that’s a lot of places. You must be on a long holiday. Due to time constraints and my cousins slow mobility, we didn’t get to go Uffizi and Academia in Florence. But it was a fantastic trip for all of us and we fulfilled their wish to the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica.
We also couldn’t get the tickets to Last Supper in Milan.

@@3dsphotography110 Yes, lot of places. 30 day vacation. We'll see alot of things, many many attractions. We are very excited. I'm buying all the tickets for attraction the most in advance possible. All attractions in Florence are already purchased, Uffizzi included. The Last Supper opens only 60 days out, so it'll open only on September 1st. I have already set an alarm for it. I hope I can get them. My concern is with the Colosseum tickets. We want the Arena Full Experience and now they are selling with only 7 days in advance instead of 30 days it was before. As Rome is the last city of our trip, 7 days before we'll be travelling, and with no conditions to stay hours in front of a screen trying to get tickets. So I'm still figuring out what to do. That Colosseum tickets policy is really a hassle, everybody complains. Let's see how I will sortt this issue out. Thanks again for taking your time to reply me. Wish you all the best, and success to your channel !!! Cheers 🙂🙂🙂

How much time would you say it took to ride the elevator and climb the dome?

It very much depends on the queue to the ticket booth and elevator. The elevator takes about 10 persons each time so it slowdowns the whole process. To play it safe, you should cater at least about 1.5 hours in total. In my opinion it is better to go to the Vatican Museum 1st since it is time entry and you don’t want to miss it. Can do St Peter later at your own pace. It is also less crowded towards the late afternoon.
