That sausage guillotine joke made Barry sleep on the couch that night.
Love those 5-star reviews where it says "Looks great, haven't used it".
I just assume it's some sort of bot since there seemed to be very similar comments ever time he looked in the reviews
SO MANY REVIEWS on wish say 'Great, arrived early haven't had chance to try it yet' - even in different languages. It could be a bot, but I actually wrote that on a lot of reviews, just because it's amusing. So I think it's just what you write on Wish reviews...
Lol that’s like me liking this video the second it starts
There are also plenty of real reviews on Wish but most of them are not useful because many people write the review only because they want the points. You get points every time you review the item that you bought or send a photo of that product. So that is why Wish is filled with crappy short reviews like 'The item was OK' and bad quality photos. With the rewarded points you get discount from your next order.
@@Belvie same happens on Amazon or people buying it as a gift ans reviewing it even tho they havnt heard from the person. Whats is better is people answering questions on Amazon saying i dont know. So helpful!
UA-cam Comments, Wish Style:
Video looks great, haven't watched it yet
👍
Lucas Bossio Looks. Great haven’t received it yet!
Great video- haven't opened UA-cam or turned on the computer.
"I have a sausage guillotine in my house, and it's not Mrs. Barry."
FYI, that's not the correct way to use the negi cutter. You're supposed to run the blades lengthwise and it'll make super long strips. It should work better if you cut the green onion in half lengthwise (once) and use it. If used correctly, it'll cut the green onion into ribbons.
Came here to say this!
I FINISHED MY BARRYTHON!! I started during finals last semester and found these to be such a good stress reliever and two months later I'm finished! Thank you for mindless, funny, sometimes even educational, and always pure and wholesome content
I have a chronic illness and suffer from constant pain and fatigue, and because of these reviews I actually ordered some kitchen gadgets that have helped me massively! I am finally able to make myself more healthy meals again, instead of instant meals and such everyday. Thank you for doing these genuine reviews, they help a lot!
Lisanne S Im new to having chronic fatigue syndrome and it’s so hard is there any advise you could give me on how to cope with it?
@@sophiebone9157 I've got chronic fatigue as part of fibromyalgia, the beta advice I can give you is not to feel guilty for needing to take shortcuts ❤️
I am in the same boat, chronic fatigue syndrome, though now it should be called mialgyc encephalomelitis I believe. My advice is use all the sense of humor you can, try not to feel guilty and learn to respect your needs. Lots of love.
Emily H thank you so much this is so helpful it’s hard when your still just a teenager so when I get advise for others who know how u feel is so helpful and reassuring
@@sophiebone9157 I agree with the other answers here. Take good care of yourself and mind your limits. If you can't do something, that's okay. If you'd rather do a thing before something else, that's okay too. You have to be kind to yourself and your body and listen to what it needs. And please, if anyone in your direct surroundings doesn't respect what you need or tries to go over your limits, make it clear that's not gonna happen. Don't let anyone guilt trip you.
And most of all, ask for help when you need it.
The illness itself probably won't get better, but remember that there's people you can talk to and that you're responsible for your own happiness. You can definitely make this better, and maybe a bit easier, on yourself. You can do this! :)
I "love" people like Loretta there at 1:37. "Looks good to me. Haven't tried it yet" 5 stars.
Fight me Loretta. Any parking lot you choose.
😂👍👏
rating systems on websites are pretty useless, but the rating system on chinese e-commerce sites (alibabagroup, ect. ) are definitely useless.
on western sites are many fake reviews and/or biased reviews. On chinese sites there are fake reviews. if a non perfect score review is posted on a product page, the seller deletes his account and repost his products under a new name.
Not as bad as the people who answer questions on Amazon with "I don't know, sorry". WELL DON'T F***ING COMMENT THEN
@@chrismac4441 Yeah. These type of answers are also useless. Not only for the person that asked but for everyone that is interested in the answer
@@S41t4r4 I think it's older people who get an email saying "Simon asked you a question" and they think Simon is actually asking them directly. "Terribly sorry Simon but I have no idea"
Barry! The negi cutter is supposed to be used to julienne the scallion. Theres a tutorial by a Korean lady if you search for negi cutter on youtube
So, rake it along the length so it's really fine long threads, right?
@@amandakerik Yup
I was really bothered by the way he was using it too
Negi is Japanese for leek and that's how they show it on all the packages. They have all sorts of sizes, but all long thin strips (finer than a julienne).
The pointed end should be down, there was an angle to the blade... and raked as someone said, like an xacto knife
I think you used the NEGI cutter wrong way.
It's for cutting the NEGI vertical ways
誤字っこらじ oh to make it stringy?
i've spent hours pondering over useless kitchen tat I could get for a quid on wish. First thing I noticed was that most of the reviews just say 'looks great. Not tried it yet'. obviously fake lol
Wish wants to know when you received an item. The problem comes in when Wish asks for a review right after you click 'received it'. Maybe the buyers don't know you can review it later. But yeah, I really hate 5 star reviews with "I can't wait to try it".
I'm guilty of that, mainly because some things you can't really review properly until you've tried them for a longer period of time (things like jewelry and indeed gadgets, they might work once and then never again), but I do want to let everyone know I did receive my item and it isn't a scam. On some websites like Aliexpress there is an option to add in a review underneath your previous one where you can give more detailed information later on as well, which is great. Just so you know, it doesn't have to be fake if people say it looks great but they haven't tried it! And I have low expectations anyway so when it arrives and looks somewhat alright I'm basically happy already :P
They are all fake reviews. Sometimes I purposefully go to the "1-star rating" section of the product, because thats where you find the real reviews
Adam's Eats Yeah some people review the stuff before they try it because you get points for reviewing and with so many points you can get 5-15% off.
I love how you mention that these gadgets could help with disabilities! 💜
March idea t-shirts with "there's a gadget for that " on it 😂
Want!
@@heathersippel8849 me too
How is nobody talking about the fact Barry sounds like a villager being attacked in minecraft at 6:01 ?
Barry, like the wish series can you do a poundland one testing the pans and all of the range? wanted to see how they are compared to a decent name brand.
... with Ashens, of course. :)
love the gatwick joke 😂😂😂
Ben Stubbs there may be an angry mob forming
You should do AliExpress gadgets next
Those products are the same thing. Ali sellers often sell both on Ali and on wish. Ali tends to be the better deal price wise and free shipping wise.
Never seen a hotdog in a jar. Also, that sausage cutter is worthless.
Neurolicious what do you have Hot Dogs in then?
@@achievementbird2641 plastic packaging really
@@slasherchild5871 we have both in England, it's just preference
@@toogaytolift9176 I live in the "wonderful" US so I've only seen them in plastic packaging
I love the new logo!
“There’s a wooden sausage guillotine in my house and I’m not talking about Mrs. Barry”
😂😂😂
The hot dog slicer that also halves the coins would be fantastic for anyone doing baby led weaning!
My mom would love that🤣 every day she’s in the kitchen chopping sausages. I ask what’s for dinner and it’s sausage and cabbage, sausage soup, sausage and noodles. If I have to hear about how hard cutting sausage is one more time I’ll have to start cutting anything sausage looking 🤣
Mac and cheese with hot dog dices. Definitely nice for the little kids.
my dad is a huge medieval fan and is also a sausage maker in his spare time! if the sausage guillotine could be shipped to new zealand i am sure he would cherish it!
Try greasing all internal surfaces of that donut maker, including the bit that makes the donut hole. Will make the batter less sticky and you should get donuts that homer would be proud of!
When the salami went flying 😂😂😂
YEET
Really hated the part where you scrubbed the pan. Got chills and goosebumps on my entire body! Had to turn off the sound 🤣😂 Other than that; I liked the video!
Watching the BTS playlist on my laptop and watching this video with my phone. 😅 I'm obsessed. HELP 😮
Nearly 1am in Arkansas and I am awake watching this...love it
Mrs Barry the Sausage Guillotine oh my! 😅😅😅😅
Sometimes your videos are like Pixar movies with the sneaky adult jokes sometimes 😅
When that sausage flew, so did my wig 😂
Ah! the Sausage Guillotine! We have an electric one and it can cut through anything!
Though that's no surprise, it pretty much a table saw for food.
That thing that slices and halves the hotdogs would work for beanie-weenies, adding to macaroni and cheese, green beans, cornbread, soup, omelettes, etc. They are also perfect finger food for serving to toddlers. Since the slice is cut in half it is safer than round pieces, which can get stuck in their throat if not properly chewed. Nifty gadget, but I bet it's a pain to clean.
I'm always glad to see a gadgets video! Love this channel!❤
I didn't figure out what is different in the kitchen.
Barry's catch phrase: 'there's a gadget for that'
New smoke alarm perhaps? :P
I think it's moved as well.
honestly those bottle cap things would be pretty good to have around for pubs or clubs or something. Stop your drink getting spiked plus it wont spill as much
Small hotdog pieces would probably be good for small children to reduce choking hazards.
The meat guillotine would be quite useful for my baking business. I could cut my candies and fondant beautifully!!!
the doughnut part deserved a like
Gadget video with sorted food please please please
The oil and vinegar thing looks cool. It's also two holes away from being a bong lol
The beer saver caps would be great in the summer to keep bees out of the bottles! LOVE the new logo!
the olive oil thing has two shapes. as you saw, one had grapes, and that's because the balsamic vinegar is made from grapes. the other shape... is an olive. :)
That oil dispenser thing looks like a bong. 😆
The scallion cutter.... I think it's meant to make things strips instead of how you use it lol maybe a revisit on it some other time?
The halved and thin hot dogs are meant for little kids so they don't choke :) also great for dogs as a treat - ours used to get a hot dog when he took his insulin
He be out there getting cream soda from the American isle We got it in vending machines 😂
The Master of Kitchen Mayhem strikes again!!!!
The orange sausage dicer thing is great for quickly cutting sausages for soup. We do chopped chorizo (fried in a pan) and then add tomato soup. ABSOLUTELY delicious and smokey!
Dangit Barry I need to get some sleep I have work in a few hours, now I have to drop everything and watch this video.
The hot dog gadget would be perfect for when I put a few hot dogs in my Kraft mac and cheese.
love love LOVE the new logo! Clean, classy, to the point. A logo design triumph imo.
look, I just like good design okay 😅
You know there is a really cool kitchen gadget that can handle that garlic and sausage. A knife.
The salami sliding out of that guillotine was priceless!! I haven't laughed so hard in a while!! 😂😂💕
I’m watching this playlist on my trip to Vegas for a world archery shoot
so what changed? can"t find any difference in the kitchen...
even after opening some older vids and trying to cross reference lol
The counter tops have gotten lighter
Thanks I couldn't spot it either.
I know this was a while ago, but what actually changed was the roller shutter by the sink, where he usually keeps the wrap master and whatnot. It had broken and he had to get it replaced.
Hot dog slicers first came into fashion to make hot dogs kid friendly sized. so they're small enough to not choke
I have never seen hot dogs in a jar. I saw you pulled that that out and got distracted. I had to watch the video twice because I was googling where can I buy them in the US. Y’all have all the good stuff there....
The garlic presser works skin on too, if you chop the cloves in half.
I'm a little sad that's it's not my virgin kitchen anymore
i feel the same honestly
Barry will always be a virgin in our hearts MVK gone but never forgotten :(
@@jamiegriffin-smith9931 lol
Brilliant video. I laughed out loud when the sausage shot off the guillotine 🤣🤣🤣
The tap shower thingy could actually be decent, provided you use a ziptie to clamp it in place (or an actual hose clamp). I could see the shower feature help in cleaning stuff.
Please make t-shirts that says keep calm there's a gadget for that
Yes yes and yes!
i use one of those green onion gadgets every dau at work, but we dont use it to make sliced onion, we go legnthwise on the green parts to make a fairy floss like bundle of onion for one of the meals
Omg!!😂 the 🍩maker was too funny!! Always love your gadget videos,by a never know what your gonna get!!😁😆😂
The hot dog cutter can be used for Beanie weenie hot dogs and beans mixed together
I died laughing when you launched the salami across the kitchen 😂
So there are 2 types of doughnuts , raised and cake. You were making cake doughnuts but i think the batter has to be just the right consistency for that thing to work. The other way would be to put raised doughnut dough into it and then push it onto a cookie sheet to rise before you fry.
Halving the hotdog slices is perfect for children with tiny airways.
THANK YOU for the bit about the disabilities. Everyone else conveniently ignores that bit.
Nope. None of these gonna help me. Keep 'em coming Barry, because even thought my arthritic hands still hurt, laughter is the best medicine.
Those plastic bottle caps are actually all over the place in Argentina, but people mostly use them over bigger, reused, glass bottles 😆
Sala♥️♥️♥️
Why is he now barry lewis, rather than my virgin kitchen??
his analytics said more people were searching for him rather than the name of his show. just playing the youtube game
The multi bladed tool is for shredding not slicing. You run it from the root to the end of the greens. Typically used for things like leeks.
And the dog slicer might be good for dirty rice
I love that sausage guillotine, whenever i get mad at my bf id just take it out and start cutting hot dogs in front of him.
The spring onion one is a shredder, you're supposed to cut it from tip to the leaf, not in circles. It actually should work both ways but yeah, it's the julienne cutter of the spring onions.
LOVE the new logo Barry! No longer a virgin in the kitchen!
The beer savers would also be good for when you go out into town x saves usin your thumb to stop either spilling it when ur dancing or stop people puttin things in them x
Not sure if its just the lighting or not, but it looks like the countertop has been re-finished near the cooktop. Hot pan on a wood counter top leave a bit of a burn?
You can also make doughnuts using what Americans call biscuits by rolling them out flat and using a samll round lid to punch a hole in the middle and then frying it and the hole punch.
Then drop them in a bag with powdered sugar, cinnamon and/or other spices, close the bag and shake to coat the doughnut.
The green onion slicer is meant to slice it the LONG way. It cuts the green onion into long, thin ribbon-like slices. You stick the knife in close to the white end and then pull the onion through. Koreans use this to make a green onion salad that goes with grilled meat. The ribbons curl up when soaked in cold water...then you drain and toss with a soy sauce/sesame dressing. You can look up 'Korean scallion salad' for reference.
The sausage guillotine would work really well on a german summer sausage. More dense and larger than a hotdog.
The donut maker is for thin batter, not dough. Used to have one just like it in the 90's.
In Brazil we often eat hotdog choped this thin. We do a hotdog sauce with the sausage, garlic, onions, green pepper and tomato sauce. Then you open the bread, put some mayo in one side and mozzarella cheese in the other, pour the sause and some very thin cut fried potato ( it is called "batata palha"). So yeah, I would find that helpful when doing hotdogs for 20 people in my birthday. Hahaha try the recipe, you will like it.
14:29 first thought, bong??? 😂
Glad I wasn't the only one
@@jamiegriffin-smith9931 Hahah 😁
Fredrik I bought one at a dollar store for my brother as a joke because of the shape😂
I love the wish gadget video's! ( wishaddict myself here... )
But I had to screenshot and enlarge to read the german comment to make any sence of what you said!
Please keep making these vid's, you make me smile when I need it
People who own Crested Geckos and related species use items like the beer savers as food bowls. I have never seen them used for their actual purpose before today.
God. I looooooov ur phrases. Has me in fits of laughter every time I watch. Loooooov ur work Barry.
I've just stated following you and may I say, totally enjoying it. Put your little cut up sausages on pizza maybe
The donut maker would work for funnel cakes or you could just use a funnel. Maybe a Krispy Kreme kind of dough instead of the one you used?
You are very punny🤣
Love the Gatwick joke at 5:07 😂
The idea with the tap thing is that separate tiny water streams cover more surface and clean faster because of it, and if you clean faster you don't have to have the tap on as long.
Me and my bloke were trying to decide who you looked like. We think a mix of Jamie Oliver and Jason Mumford... He works as a chief fire officer/Station Commander in the NIFRS (we live in Belfast) so I think he’s hoping for no fire calls next week so he can have a Barathon at work. I may have created a monster 😂
There's a burn mark on the ceiling above the oven. I want the toaster to show the missus what a real 4 slicer looks like.
You are so funny. Subscribed for all the laughs, spills, puns, pugs, and because you're a lefty like me. I would love to see a video about all the kitchen items/gadgets that are NOT lefty friendly. Thanks.
OMG THE DOG MUNCHER. OH YES PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. OH YES.
Barry the new mr.gadget! You need to make shirts that say theres a gadget for that. You could say almost anything before it and add it :-)
Anybody else get a 300+ minute ad before the video ????
