SO MANY REVIEWS on wish say 'Great, arrived early haven't had chance to try it yet' - even in different languages. It could be a bot, but I actually wrote that on a lot of reviews, just because it's amusing. So I think it's just what you write on Wish reviews...

There are also plenty of real reviews on Wish but most of them are not useful because many people write the review only because they want the points. You get points every time you review the item that you bought or send a photo of that product. So that is why Wish is filled with crappy short reviews like 'The item was OK' and bad quality photos. With the rewarded points you get discount from your next order.

FYI, that's not the correct way to use the negi cutter. You're supposed to run the blades lengthwise and it'll make super long strips. It should work better if you cut the green onion in half lengthwise (once) and use it. If used correctly, it'll cut the green onion into ribbons.

@@sophiebone9157 I agree with the other answers here. Take good care of yourself and mind your limits. If you can't do something, that's okay. If you'd rather do a thing before something else, that's okay too. You have to be kind to yourself and your body and listen to what it needs. And please, if anyone in your direct surroundings doesn't respect what you need or tries to go over your limits, make it clear that's not gonna happen. Don't let anyone guilt trip you.
And most of all, ask for help when you need it.
The illness itself probably won't get better, but remember that there's people you can talk to and that you're responsible for your own happiness. You can definitely make this better, and maybe a bit easier, on yourself. You can do this! :)

rating systems on websites are pretty useless, but the rating system on chinese e-commerce sites (alibabagroup, ect. ) are definitely useless.
on western sites are many fake reviews and/or biased reviews. On chinese sites there are fake reviews. if a non perfect score review is posted on a product page, the seller deletes his account and repost his products under a new name.

Wish wants to know when you received an item. The problem comes in when Wish asks for a review right after you click 'received it'. Maybe the buyers don't know you can review it later. But yeah, I really hate 5 star reviews with "I can't wait to try it".

    • @deadlymuffinz
      @deadlymuffinz 5 років тому +6

I'm guilty of that, mainly because some things you can't really review properly until you've tried them for a longer period of time (things like jewelry and indeed gadgets, they might work once and then never again), but I do want to let everyone know I did receive my item and it isn't a scam. On some websites like Aliexpress there is an option to add in a review underneath your previous one where you can give more detailed information later on as well, which is great. Just so you know, it doesn't have to be fake if people say it looks great but they haven't tried it! And I have low expectations anyway so when it arrives and looks somewhat alright I'm basically happy already :P

That thing that slices and halves the hotdogs would work for beanie-weenies, adding to macaroni and cheese, green beans, cornbread, soup, omelettes, etc. They are also perfect finger food for serving to toddlers. Since the slice is cut in half it is safer than round pieces, which can get stuck in their throat if not properly chewed. Nifty gadget, but I bet it's a pain to clean.

The green onion slicer is meant to slice it the LONG way. It cuts the green onion into long, thin ribbon-like slices. You stick the knife in close to the white end and then pull the onion through. Koreans use this to make a green onion salad that goes with grilled meat. The ribbons curl up when soaked in cold water...then you drain and toss with a soy sauce/sesame dressing. You can look up 'Korean scallion salad' for reference.

The sausage guillotine would work really well on a german summer sausage. More dense and larger than a hotdog.

The donut maker is for thin batter, not dough. Used to have one just like it in the 90's.

In Brazil we often eat hotdog choped this thin. We do a hotdog sauce with the sausage, garlic, onions, green pepper and tomato sauce. Then you open the bread, put some mayo in one side and mozzarella cheese in the other, pour the sause and some very thin cut fried potato ( it is called "batata palha"). So yeah, I would find that helpful when doing hotdogs for 20 people in my birthday. Hahaha try the recipe, you will like it.

People who own Crested Geckos and related species use items like the beer savers as food bowls. I have never seen them used for their actual purpose before today.

The donut maker would work for funnel cakes or you could just use a funnel. Maybe a Krispy Kreme kind of dough instead of the one you used?

The idea with the tap thing is that separate tiny water streams cover more surface and clean faster because of it, and if you clean faster you don't have to have the tap on as long.

Me and my bloke were trying to decide who you looked like. We think a mix of Jamie Oliver and Jason Mumford... He works as a chief fire officer/Station Commander in the NIFRS (we live in Belfast) so I think he’s hoping for no fire calls next week so he can have a Barathon at work. I may have created a monster 😂

There's a burn mark on the ceiling above the oven. I want the toaster to show the missus what a real 4 slicer looks like.
