I worked on similar ones back in the 80's. They were, at the time; somewhat common in the women's accessories industry. Purses, billfolds, etc. I imagine the majority of that industry is now in Asia. I have some fond memories of that day and time. Well done.
That is so awesome. That leather skiving machine looks much better and it works like a charm too. By the way, I have never seen a machine like that before. Excellent work.
Hi, nice job. I bought the same Machine 2 weeks before and i cant find any information for this Machine. So i called the Company ( is nearby ) for more information. They asked for the serial number ( 19444 Type B ) and viola they send me the Users Manual and Parts List. My machine was build in 1925 😏
Thanks! Does it look just like this? My serial number is 4760, maybe i need to ask that also. Nice to know you can still have user manual and part list on these old machines😃

My bell skiver is about 5 years old and I can tell you nothing has changed. It's identical to the Fortuna but, just a different color.
It seems that! I hope there is no leather belt on new ones?😅
@@manuLab no, the drive belt for the skiing bell is a standard rubber material.
More money then sense.
@@monsterg4603 why so?
Nyt vasta katsoin tämän, miten ihmeessä osasit laittaa oikeat osat takaisin oikeaan paikkaan ? Huh.. 🙈
Näistä kuvatuista videoista oli iso apu😄
