Air China A350-900 was modern. I love that trash bin in the toilet is auto, a feature that I think is more necessary than a modern cabin or extra legroom
Good to see that Air China still uses a relatively roomy configuration for economy class. You could try Air China's classic 747-400 on the domestic route between PEK and SHA/CAN/SZX. Another interesting choice is CN3's C919, currently MU operates its fleet on SHA to TFU/XIY/PKX/CAN and PKX to XIY routes.
Always nice flights from Milan to Beijing with Air China, I did that same trip several times now. A350-900 is simply amazing, both premium eco and business class are pretty nice (not at same level of Singapore airlines, Emirates etc of course, but good enough). Crew nice, and not too much “invasive” with noises and services. From point A to point B a good experience, nothing more nothing less. A major adv: Air China is one of the few flying over Russia now and this saves a lot of time. Lat but not least: Air China call center is efficient
My impression of Air China is the same as yours. Of course we are still talking about the A350-900, because if you fly on an old A330-300 the impression can change
In the personal opinion of an economic traveler who has traveled to Milan Shanghai every three weeks for 6 months with both Emirates and Air China is that Airbus is much better, quieter, with more spacious toilets, newer interiors and better air. The seats and the space are generous. On Emirates they now use Boing 787 which is very uncomfortable and with very old screens. In addition, I think that the Chinese staff is punctual in enforcing the order on board, serves water more frequently and in general gives me a greater sense of attention, even in helping with the luggage. I live in Shanghai and I often go there. If I'm not in Milan.
Nice vlog...thank you. I flew Air China LHR to MNL on B777-3s immediately before the pandemic hiatus. The food was good and the cabin crew, despite having to struggle a bit with English, could not have been kinder or more attentive. Without being asked, they even found me an unoccupied row to lie down in.
Very interesting video and reassuring about the quality of the flight! I'm taking a flight from Milan to Shanghai next week. Two doubts: Hand luggage: is it possible to bring a cabin trolley and a little backpack too? are they weighed and does the trolley need to be under 5kg/11lb? Once you have checked in online, can you print your boarding pass yourself or do you have to go to the airport desk to collect it? Thank you
Hi, regarding hand luggage you can bring a carry-on bag and a personal item. I don't know about the weight, I can't really tell you. I didn't print the ticket at home because I had a lot of difficulty doing the check-in. So since it opens three hours earlier at the airport I went to do it directly there.
Ciao!
It wasn’t easy at all to check in through the site using my mobile. I also had some issues from the computer, but in the end, I managed to do it from the computer itself.
very nice vlog! I'll take this same flight in a couple of months, i hae a few questions. Did you checked online or at malpensa airport? how was the stopover in Beijing (precise security, covid test necessary, and need to chechk again the luggage)? thank you very much ;)
The flight was pretty smooth. Check-in is possible 36 hours before departure. I was only able to do it on a computer and not on a phone. If you have trouble you can also do it at the airport. I didn’t checked any baggage. In Beijing you didn't need a Covid test, but the security checks were very slow because there are only two lines for hundreds of people. I lost about an hour. The experience on Air China was very good, but at Beijing airport not so much
in the cabin you can bring with you a hand baggage and a small backpack, which means that in addition to the hand baggage you can also bring your small bag with your laptop and camera
Is your flight to Beijing 75% full, do you remember how much you pay to fly Air China, how's passport control in Beijing, is it long and your trip to China?
Ho già preso diversi voli con Ryanair o EasyJet all’interno dell’Italia.
Haha United vs EVA is no comparison, EVA is better in almost all aspects. Pre departure beverage in a plastic cup sums up United for you, cheap, plasticky and boring.

These are certainly experiences that I will try in the future

yes, even the crew on my flight had some trouble speaking English 😅
An off-peak season for travels.
Summer travels already ended, but wait until the National
Holiday and Mid-autumn festival

Excellent video.
Amazing😊
good trip report
Interesting flight report 👍✈️🇷🇺
Tasty food! 😋
This seat looks so comfy! But do you prefer the Turkish Airlines A350 seat or this one? Also a good trip report as always.
it's a really difficult choice to make but I think the Turkish A350 ones might be slightly more comfortable and the screens are definitely bigger

Have you been able to check in online easily through the app? I read that it often causes issues, and you might need to do it at the airport.

Nice video
Nice trip.
in China for most of the flights, you don't need to print ticket boarding pass, people use QR codes in their airliner apps
for me it was mandatory, in fact they printed it for me precisely for this reason
Nice video broo

Hi, is it possible to take a small bag with me (with my laptop and my camera) in addition to a normal trolley?
in the cabin you can bring with you a hand baggage and a small backpack, which means that in addition to the hand baggage you can also bring your small bag with your laptop and camera
Hello
Suggestion: can you fly the longest flight in the world (New york to Singapore)
I had no plans to fly on it at the moment. It is possible that I may take that flight in the future
Did you encounter any rough turbulence on this trip?
fortunately I didn’t encounter any turbulence on this flight
I wish I could meet you there in Peking 🤓
So they actually changed your selected seat?😮
Yes! Since the plane was completely empty they moved me to another seat further forward and I had the whole row available to myself
With almost empty cabin, how the airline can made money from this route? I think China govermnent subsidized a lot.
Is your flight to Beijing 75% full, do you remember how much you pay to fly Air China, how's passport control in Beijing, is it long and your trip to China?
I paid about $200 for this route: PEK-HND/NRT-PVG. The transit in Beijing was very slow because they are very restrictive
I see, same in security?
Both at security checks and passport one
air china mister
Air China from Beijing to Manila
Philippine Airlines from Manila to Davao
I thought the thumbnail was MSFS😅
seat number?
before changing seats I was sitting at 57A, then at 36L
Do you speak italian ?
👍🏻

What was the price of the flight ticket?
the price had been around $300 for the trip MXP-PEK-HND
Almost empty flights in direction of China, 😂
Yes, the flight was mostly empty!
