- Nehru Science Center (NSC) is the largest interactive science centre in India. It is located in Worli, Mumbai. The centre is named after India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. In 1977, the centre started with the 'Light and Sight' exhibition, and then in 1979 a Science Park was built. On 11 November 1985 it was opened to the public by Rajiv Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India.

Entry Ticket to Science Centre - General Visitors

It covers an area of 8000 square meters and is a magnificent collection of plant, shrubs and more than 500 hands on science exhibit.
The institutes have a variety of science exhibits ranging from the lazy see-saw to planetary Motion. It is one of the first science national parks in the world. The center also has a library which is open to public on all weekdays. It has over 10,000 books on various disciplines which can be browsed and read by anyone. There is also 3D special shows screened here. The show ticket cost rupees 20 per person and is an immersive experience for the visitor. One can see and understand complex principals and working of any model or theory.
The center is open on all days except Holi and Diwali. The visiting timings are between 10 A.M to 6 P.M. the ticket counters, however closes half an hour early i.e. 5:30 P.M. it is a must visit for students and science enthusiasts. It is the place where you can not only see the marvels of science but also feel it.
Every year, the centre is visited by over 750,000 people.
The science center is very informative not only for children but also for adults.
Nehru Science Centre, first conceived as a Science & Technology Museum in late sixties, took final shape as India's largest interactive science centre in 1977 to match the world trends in such public institutions.
