I can’t wait to see this video Nick. My adds have just finished and I’m keen as. I have tube buddy and some of my videos are ranked at all green 100 yet haven’t produced massive views.
UA-cam also haven’t issued massive impressions but my SEO score is right up there and my CTR is high.
Retention is above 72 percent so hopefully in time it catches a little wave and really increases my views.

Edit : I have the legend pack and I check both weighted and unweighted and I use incognito mode as a reference.
My tags are all green as well and some rank 1 in search but I just can’t seem to get a big boost....maybe I just need to up my game 💯

It does technically and it's possible it would show up for that too. Adding the 2020 makes it more long tail/specific and less competitive.

Hey Nick, loved the video and found the content super insightful as usual! Out of curiosity, when you're using the keyword explorer tool, if the overall score for whatever it is you're searching is scored poorly under the "weighted" tab, but in contrast has an excellent score under the the "unweighted" tab, would it be ideal to pursue that tag? Assuming you are trying something new for the channel or if you wanted to change the direction of the channel to encourage growth?
It wouldn’t be a great idea because the weighted section shows whether your own channel will have a chance at ranking with that keyword and the unweighted shows how the other people using this keyword are doing

If everytime in the explorer under "related" is written: "No related video searches found" Or "No related web searches found" Is this a bad sign and means my keywords are too specific? Even when I got an overall score of 100 (weighted)? I'm a bit confused, please help.
Nick is that dude. I lost this channel to a hacker way back in May, I sucked it up and restarted and got all my subs back in half the time it took on my original channel, with more revenue! All thanks to nicks advice! APPLY IT!

Hey Nick , i was wondering with your example you showed at 7.00
Its shows that NLF schedule gets and est of 23.7m searches a month and the with the NLF schedule 2020 it shows no result for the monthly searches .
Would i not want to find a key word that tells me it has (x) amount of clicks a month and a good score ?

Hey Nick, got a question for you. With my videos I have a 10 second sponsor clip that I have to include in every video. I've been switching it up and just placing it at the beginning (which I'm sure everyone just skips) but also trying a "hook" intro for 30 seconds or so and then doing the ad placement. Any thoughts on the best way to place ads for sponsors?

Hey! It depends on what you work out with the sponsor. Most people want at least an acknowledgment at the beginning of the video somewhere but some are flexible on the placement of the actual ad. They reason they want it at the front is because that's when most people are watching. You can see in your stats if/where people are skipping. Ultimately, you want to balance video performance with sponsor placement (video for me, video for them) but if you put it towards the front some people will skip...and that's ok, sponsors know that happens. I'm happy to see you have sponsors!!!! Keep it up!

Excelente video. Lo que no entiendo con TubeBuddy es el search volume. Si no aparece la metrica "Searches Per Month" con un numero se supone que el numero de busqueda mensual es muy bajo no es asi? Pero muchas veces esta metrica no parece pero la bara de "Search Volume" parece como excelente y esta en el verde, otras veces "Searches Per Month" aparece con un numero muy alto lo que deja entender que es muy bueno pero la bara "Search Volume" esta bad en el rojo. Entonces que representa exactamente esta bara de color "Search Volume" si no representa el volume de busqueda por mes?

*Tubebuddy gave me a huge increase in my views. My first week I was getting zero views. Two views. The usual. Then week 2 I found tubebuddy. Now I get 40 to 50 views on my worst performance . On some even broke 1000+ views. Now 50 views might not seem like much to you, but to me it is a vast improvement over zero.*

Hey there Nick! How is it going? I really appreciate for the content you put on. It’s absolutely helpful and worth it. However, I’m a bit lost now since I’ve started uploading videos not a long ago. I make silly and or absurd videos and I have a hard time to figure out my niche. I believe most of the UA-cam channels have their focal point but since I cover wide range of topics, how do it optimize my channel for more views and subscribers; I mean creating silly and or absurd contents? 😅. If comedy is your niche that’s ok. Niching is about the audience more than the content. If you know the audience you’re making content for you can be flexible with the content they’ll enjoy.

I’m such an old man. I thought Google searches acted like the old boolean searches, which is how I learned how to use professional database back in the ‘90s. It doesn’t. And it took exploring TubeBuddy for a bit to figure that out. I was literally using only single word tags in my video descriptions, and that’s only part of the answer. Thanks for showing me this.

Hey, I have a question about impressions.
Recently I uploaded my 100th video. Usually I had 300 impressions every day, but when I uploaded video #100 it suddenly rose to 1500 impressions a day.
Is that caused by the UA-cam algorithm or is that pure coincidence? I am not mad about it, as you could guess, but I am curius if I found something interesting.

Purchased tube buddy annual with your link yesterday. Seems like a great tool so far. Wish I had been using this for years.
