This is why You Tube is the gr8est gift to the internet. Someone posts a video to fix an annoying little problem that would take the average person hours and hours to troubleshoot and fix. I watched 3 or 4 vids on this before I found this one, I went and bought the springs and 15 minutes later I'm done. - Simply Awesome!! Thanks for posting, who knows how much you saved me going to the dealer
Excellent and brilliant remedy..I had tried to troubleshoot mine..2006 Sienna limited several times, but not ready to take to the dealer for those charges. It worked perfectly after your remedy. Thanks and God Bless you.
Thank you very much, this was a problem I was carring for a long time in my sienna 2006. The first time the trouble apeared I got to pay a lot in toyota workshop and didn't work for long. Gracias amigo. Saludos desde México
Thanks for the vedio. My Toyota Estima have the same problem for a while. I have to hold the spring to operate the power seat... Can you tell me where to find the proper sping for it?
I purchased the spring at a hardware store, it is a 4 Inch spring, so anything close to that, with hooks on the ends to hook around the components as shown in the video. Don't replace with the actual Toyota spring, that is much more expensive, and with the covers back on, this is not visible,
