You'll have to update it manually since waveapps populates the data from your settings. You can change it within the invoice but you'll have to remember to do so
Hi Would Wood Work. Great work explaining the process. I have a question about invoicing. Each week or month, the work we do are categorized into hours. The weekly billing can be multiple items with different student names. How can I upload a pre-made spread sheet into the invoice?
That's a great question. You can't upload pre-made spreadsheets into the invoice but you can create line items with the hours broken down so that whoever is paying can accurately tell what is being calculated. Also you can send a separate email with the spreadsheet for record
Great video! How do you make the money go into your business bank account? I’m a small business owner and I don’t want to be mailed checks I’d rather have it go into direct deposit.
Thank you! Are you here in the states? If so, you can use Venmo, cashapp or zelle. We use those, you can also link your business account to your wave invoicing account and when you get paid it gets deposited into your bank account.

whats up brother, that's a great question. If your T&C are regarding the quote then yes I would add it directly to your quote so that they have something to read. Add things like how long the price is valid for, next steps if they would like to move forward, things like that. You can also find an example T&C on google and take what you like from that and make it your own. That's how we started. But to professionalize yourself, stay far away from facebook messenger, sending text and things like that. Use email whenever you can and a quick voice call will help you close A LOT of deals. You got this famo, slow and steady, don't give up and always remember Think outside the box.

@@dencho3003 good idea! Regarding your contracts you can use google docs, make a template and every time you have a client make a copy of that template and email it to them to sign like a docusign.
I'm the treasurer for our HOA and we use the free version of Wave for our accounting software. I do like the invoicing system and the nice look. However, I can't figure out a way to make ONE invoice for our annual dues and send it to all 131 owners.....instead of having to make 131 invoices. Is there a way to do that? Make one repetitive invoice and send it to everyone? We basically have 131 "customers" . Thanks for any help.
That a great question, I never had to send one invoice to many different people outside of a couple people in one household. The issue is, the communication on the email when sending it out will be generic. Try adding the emails right before you send out the invoice, theres a tab that allows you to send to more than one person.
It's ok if the invoice is pretty generic. It will be the same amount to every owner. The invoice will not be owner specific accept for the name and address. Hello! Do you know if you can pass through a CC fee automatically on an invoice? Meaning - if I offer ACH transfer or CC, if they choose can I auto add a % fee? Thanks!
Another issue I have just come up with. I assume you apply payments against an invoice when your customers pay. That creates an entry into the transactions. When the bank transaction comes in, now you have doubled the income. How do you correct this?
Great question, within the portal where you can view all outstanding invoices there's a drop down menu for each invoice where you can close them out. If you select cash on hand as the form of payment that should solve your problem

That's a great question, yes you can use your email as theirs. You can also approve invoices without sending them and they sit within your inbox as "drafts" but for reporting and revenue purposes I'd send the invoice to a "test email" to track it
thats a great question, I haven't explored that option but you may be better off exporting the invoice as a PDF and sending it via gmail with your signature attached. I look into this and if I find a way I'll make a follow up video on it
I believe you have access to the app in India to send invoice but you will have to try to link your bank account to the application. if not you can only use the invoicing portion. yes you have the ability to accept payments from other countries

Been using it for over a year....I only wish there was a way to edit miswritten client's names
You can, you need to go back to the invoice click edit invoice then "edit (clients name)" you can edit all the info there
