As far as the n word stuff in my experience there are to put it simply three types that use the word in the Latin community. There are your Afro Latinos that see themselves as black but also have family members and friends that don’t maybe look like them but they just use the word liberally with whoever and they say it back and all that. Then you have you’re “I’m not black Latinos”but they identify with the culture and feel like they are a part of it and they hurt along side the African American community when we face problems of injustice and that type of stuff. Last you have the hate/love Latinos that love the culture but not the people. They basically pretend like a lot of the popular trends set by the African American community aren’t really black trends but just pop culture. They aren’t copying us they are just talking and dressing how young people talk and dress but really they want the style while denouncing the people. Joe seems to go back and forth between all three. If you are righteous and don’t call anybody a name they don’t wanna be called most black people get it of you use it but in joes case he’s seemingly more attach to the word than most black people are. It’s not a war worth fighting for him.

Naah all 3 parts of The Darkside series were nice.. but those were the last good Fat Joe projects... discography before that was very solid overall besides JOSE 2 imo

It's obvious that officer Ricky is his main ghost writer for this album. 🤣 Joe hasn't been dope on a track since he had pun writing for him. It's crazy to think cuz it's a fact that pun would have still be on top if he was here still. He woulda maneuvered thru hip hop changing with keeping his real style. Joe fell off after pun. We all know it and we all see it. I thought he was ight and album or 2 after pun. But soon as he did make it rain u can see he was trying to bite off that lil Wayne flow and he was straight trash. Not a single person came out successfully behind Joe besides pun and it ain't the artist fault. Joe create the down fall of terror squad cuz of his ego and greediness.
Well Joe had his biggest mainstream hits though after Pun with Lean Back, Make It Rain, and All The Way Up but I don’t think he ever had a complete great body of work again that compared to Don Cartagena

JOSE2 was kinda disappointing but still had a like 3 dope tracks... Darkside all 3 volumes were nice too..
