At least the rhythm makes it a bit of a melodic variation; I really can't stand poorly structured death metal songs. This happens to be one I'm willing to listen to.
These kind of albums usually have liike 4 or 5 really good covers and just as much very crappy ones... It's just some leverage for new bands, so it's OK I guess. Just dont expect too much.
