  • A lot of people believe there is a speed limit for super duties when they are in four-wheel drive. A lot of people are afraid to use four-wheel drive at speeds higher than 15 mph. But super duties can handle a lot more abuse than people give them credit for. I haven't been afraid to use four-wheel drive over the The last 10 years. And I've never had a failure.
    In my videos I talk about my experience daily driving my 2020 F450. My truck has updated 6.7 Powerstroke with 1,050 LB-FT of Torque and 475hp. I also feature my 2019 F250 with the 6.2 L gas v8. Comment below and thanks for watching!

    To minimize binding when I plow I manually lock the hubs so only the transfer Case is shifting and if I have to make a sharp turn it does not bind at all. Give it a try this season and see what you think.

    Ok, let me ask you this. I have a 04 F250 4x4 (6.0) Will your vacuum hubs allow you to engage 4Lo or do you have to stop and manually lock the hubs?

    It always helps if you can get the weight off the item that you are greasing. Allows the grease to get into places that it could not when weight is on whatever you are greasing.

      I don't think there's weight on it... It's not like a ball joint

    Thansk for posting your video. I have an f350 diesel SRW, Have had 4x4 issues a few years after buying it. My questions would be : Can you leave the truck hub lockers in Auto and still shift back and forth into 4x4 ?
    Just bought a new one and would not to make any mistakes as I also plow snow.

      auto is the normal position, manual is if you have a failure in the auto system so you can still get 4WD

    hello very nice video, just some questions, what size blade do you have in your F250? also based in your experience, can I put a spreader on my F250? if yes what size do you recommend? Thanks in advance. I have a new 2023 ford f250 crew cab 8 ft bed, I am looking to get into the snow removal business.

      2 yard salt dogg... They are some of the lightest weight spreaders. I recommend a nice heavy plow. I like the Fisher XLS

    Can I ask you a question why I have your attention somewhat. I'd like to know about the mat that you have on the back of the truck for the salt spreader to keep salt off your truck. Is that something you can buy or something you made.

    • @DS-TRUCKS
      @DS-TRUCKS  2 роки тому +1

      It's just a bed mat. This one is OEM Ford. But could be from any company.

    Hello, you every noticed how long it take for the 4x4 to disengage back to 2 wheel drive? Seems like my 2017 F350 SD take a while before it goes back to 2 wheel drive.

    • @DS-TRUCKS
      @DS-TRUCKS  2 роки тому +1

      Yes. It takes a second for the front end to disengage.
