❤I know I'm Crazy 🤪 at 65+ disabled haven't drove or had a vehicle in Years Sam & Angela but I Love Watching & Listening to Whatever You All Do.. ❤😂GREAT JOB from My Watching! TELL THE BOY'S HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉🎉 & ENJOY Send Cake to MO 😊 GOD BLESS
That was one challenging undertaking. I hated the coolant getting on you but you had Angela working with you and she would have rescued you. Most likely she had the garden hose nearby. Wish the boys a Happy Birthday.
The tension clamps are much better for radiators hoses than worm clamps. Tension clamps are designed to expand and contract while worm clamps will fail and are known for cutting through the radiator hose.
I think you did fabulous. We are like you two. When our MH needed the engine taken out and rebuilt, we did it ourselves along with our son, two son-in-laws, a friend and a lot of blood sweat and no tears, perhaps a few words once in awhile. LOL It took a bit but we got it done and that engine now has about 10K miles on it and works like a champ. It is a job tending to those big toys and it is pricy. Ours is an older model and being in the sun and heat takes a toll so you have to maintain them or else.........it's always something, but in the cost of food and hotels and the like it is still more enjoyable and always food and sleeping available on your own schedule. I love that way of traveling. Hang in there and again, congratulations, I think you will truly enjoy all the trips and fun you enjoy in your traveling no matter where you take it! Blessings
Such knowledgeable time spent on your RV today. I'd pay for you to work on a RV of mine, if I had one. Keeping your cool is hal to the battle. Hope the boys are fine. Thanks
Happy, happy born day Elijah and Isaac! Hope you both have an awesome day of celebration!🎉🎉 Hi Sam and Angela! Awesome job you did on the cooling system and replacement on that crazy belt! Angela, you helping Sam with the belt replacement brings back memories for me. I too would be under a car and truck helping my husband!😊 Great job you two!😊❤
Oh gosh Sam you really are so great at fixing so many things and this RV is going to end up being so incredible for you and Angela and your sons. Thanks for sharing this great video and have a blessed day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😂🥰💜💜💜
Sam and Angela , Wanted to give y'all the heads up on the E Brake system on the back of the transmission if equipped . Very expensive to repair if it runs out of oil from a seal leak or exadently left engaged by mistake. Study up on the unit if y'all can. If it goes down you will be dead in the water and it will cost enough to buy a small car.
I always made it a point to mix the concentrate with distilled water, not tap water, before putting it into the coolant system. That way I'm sure that I have a 50-50 mixture.
Someone should invent a funnel and P trap contraption so you can fill radiators like this one that the top is not reachable. That siphon thing was for the birds!
Now with all you did on changing most of the important pieces, you have a New Rv. Great work Sam & Angela Wow is it possible that you arent suppose to change the coolant ???
Suggestion, because you were not able to replace the water pump at this time. I would have another belt to on hand. Sometimes when the water pumps wears out or the bearing freezes it will also take out the belt. Great video!!!
Great point! The one that was on it did not look bad. I kept it and planned to put it into a parts bin of sorts in one of the storage compartments on the RV. :)
Love and enjoy your videos and working on the rv to prepare for the birthday party. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and working on the rv
with the propper tool those squeese together hoseclamps arent too hard to install i actually like them over hoseclamps are they apply constant pressure , i have hoseclamps fail from overtightening the springtype clamps never failed me though i have cut my hands on them a few times as for filling the cooligsystem , once you put the concentrate in (knowing how mush volume you need ) fill water using a gardenhose , should be eazier then trying to pour water in using the bottle
Harbor freight offers a battery powered (2 D cell) liquid pump part #63847. I use it to transfer gas into my snow blower and lawn mover. Less than $20.00.
Nice timing, I'm in the middle of doing this on a e350 6.8L in a bus. Weird that your water came out super clear. No coolant in it? That's nice that it's at least clean water though. Ours was so overdue that it's nasty dark brown coolant. We had to flush it with a hose running through it for 5+ minutes before it came out clear.
It surprised me that the color was so pale, too. In the bucket it was a gold color. Also, after seeing the new Gold concentrate going in, it's a very pale coolant to begin with.
A little grease on the inside of the hoses makes them go on a heck of a lot easier. Will also help when you remove the hose again Sounds like the fuel pump is getting awful loud. I would see about replacing it or carry one with you.
@@sam-and-angela my truck a 2500 GMC SIERRA SLT that I bought new has the Hydroboost brake system and it doesn't make any noise at all ever. The best brake system you can have on a pickup truck. That system is next thing to air brakes. When you turned on the switch on that RV the fuel pump comes on until it builds pressure in the system and you should barely hear it cycle.
I think that I have missed a video! I don't remember seeing anything about the metal siding being added to the "carport." Did I miss one? If so, do you remember the title?
You two can do just about anything you try! How about running for President !!!
I don’t think I’ll ever own an RV and if I do I’ll certainly never service it - but here am I watching you! Good job!
You are so smart to update and service this older motorhome. I’ve seen many who cosmetically alter their purchases but not the engine and service!!!
Team Sam and Angela you should be teachers you both have so much patience .
I suppose we are... just in a different way. :) We both homeschool our boys, and one could say some of our videos are teaching ones.

I'm amazed that you got all of the octopus stuffed up in there! Kudos!
That was one challenging undertaking. I hated the coolant getting on you but you had Angela working with you and she would have rescued you. Most likely she had the garden hose nearby. Wish the boys a Happy Birthday.
I dont know how you manage to keep a sense of humour , you are amazing Sam.
Sam, you needed a small liquid transfer pump, That would have made it a bit easier and it can be used for other transfers.
Good video
I gotta say , you guys DO take on the most extraordinary time and effort to remove and install all this pipework that I didnt even know existed.
Sam can do anything he's amazing 😊
The tension clamps are much better for radiators hoses than worm clamps. Tension clamps are designed to expand and contract while worm clamps will fail and are known for cutting through the radiator hose.
And will break , crush the coupling on the radiator . And how do you know 😢 go back with tension clamps. That came on it . Expensive listen to learn .
Love watching you two working together y'all get along well together. Happy Birthday boy's! 🎂🎈

Happy Birthday Elijah and Isaac!🎈🎂
Good afternoon Sam and Angela , Im a little late watching you guys , to tired the other night .
Happy birthday to whoever‘s birthday it is my all their dreams come true🇦🇺🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
If I were a drinking man, the word plastic would be the basis for a new drinking game!
Mechanics are special people... Looks great guys
As usual, the engineers have located everything that needs servicing in a place that you need extra long double jointed arms to reach them!
Such knowledgeable time spent on your RV today. I'd pay for you to work on a RV of mine, if I had one. Keeping your cool is hal to the battle. Hope the boys are fine. Thanks
Wow, you guys did a terrific job on this! The two of you make such a wonderful team! Thank you for sharing all that you do. Blessings to all of you!
Sam and Angela, you are excellent instructors! Great job! 👍👏😍😍🥰 Happy Birthday, Boys! 🎈🎉🎊🎁🎂
Happy, happy born day Elijah and Isaac! Hope you both have an awesome day of celebration!🎉🎉

Beautiful, beautiful job -- both of you! Happy Birthday to the boys! Enjoy!
Even given that things age, it seems to run pretty smooth, and start with zero issues.
So many people don't know how to do that type of work. So lucky you do or learn as you go. Great work.
like the add you did for the mini excavator
Your wealth of knowledge amazes me.
Y'all do a wonderful job. God bless you and your boys. ❤❤❤❤
Very good to see you are using Motorcraft parts. Don't mess around with cheap aftermarket parts.
The better aftermarket parts are usually made by the same company that made the OEM parts.
I love watching these RV videos. You two are making it fun and informative and remind me of my husband and I trying to shade-tree mechanic. Great job!
Love watching the RV updates ❤
So glad to see y’all! I enjoyed this! Thank you for sharing! Happy Birthday boys!
I still love the out takes! Love your show!

I love you guys great video and I really enjoy the takeouts. Please be safe and God bless.
Love you!!!❤❤❤❤

Is there anything Sam can’t figure out. Good job! Your motor home is going to be a fine running machine.
Good job guys👍👏
Enjoyed your video today it was very interesting ! Great work !
Note, use distilled water. You want to avoid minerals from tap water in the system.
Now with all you did on changing most of the important pieces, you have a New Rv. Great work Sam & Angela Wow is it possible that you arent suppose to change the coolant ???
Ya did a great job
And make sure to update the spark plugs

Now that's one complicated hose.
Enjoyed this week's vlog. Happy Birthday to the boys! 🎉

Sounds like the fuel pump is getting awful loud. I would see about replacing it or carry one with you.
That’s the hydro max brake system, but we wondered the same at first before learning more about it. :)

Great idea to replace all those parts now, but why didn't you flush the system out to get old fluid out,?
I think a small electric transfer pump would be a good investment and carry it in the RV in case you need coolant when traveling.
If that were me reattaching that last hose, I would have spilled a ton of antifreeze before getting it on, only to realize I forgot the clamp :/
I think that I have missed a video! I don't remember seeing anything about the metal siding being added to the "carport." Did I miss one? If so, do you remember the title?
Sam, you are more handsome without a hat; I can see more of your sweet face! You and Angela keep up the great videos! ❤
When you got to the point of putting water in, why not just run the garden hose up there instead of fighting with the jug or that squeeze bulb?
whoaaaaa that water drained out fast , you didnt drink it though ??
Thankfully I avoided the great guzzler!
I think that should be sucked down to be filled to make sure all the air bubbles are out
The original thermostat appears to have more coil material on it then the new one? Will that make a heating difference?
Looked like all water
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can't see you screen is all black
🙋♀️🌻
I hope you didn’t spill any antifreeze. That neighbourhood cat might drink some and as you know it is very toxic.
👍👍💖💖🙏🙏💖💖
Get a harbor freight battery operated pump
🙋♀️👍🚙💕
Do you have a name for your RV?
I think I would have flushed the whole system running it with cleaner first.
The "antifreeze" had no color. Think they were running water
Bad idea
99 super duty is the same
do you have an interest in paid partnership?
Good grief, what a terrible spot for the thermastat.
Yikes
