    The most forgotten Giant of the 90s. He was a Beast! His last 5 or so years in the league he got a pretty boy rep and people said he wanted to be a model and not a CB. All Hogwash! Dude Could Ball!

    • @bdizz2253
      @bdizz2253 3 роки тому +3

      Sehorn can’t be most forgotten. He shut down randy moss in playoffs to only 2 catches for like 17 yards. Megget was arguably the best return man in nfl and was a monster. Also a lot of people completely forget that Hershel Walker was on the giants at that time. I met them both at the giants mini camp or summer work ours before the season,and also met Megget and Armstead and a few others. It was a few years in a row we went and I can’t remember year but I was like 11 or 12 so maybe 96/97/98.. the crazy thing was I specifically remember shaking sehorns hand abd right behind him after he signed a photo for me walks up Hershel Walker and I swear on anything... my grandfather was a big guy, but Walker was so massive and I swear his arms were bigger than my fucking torso. I was 11 and my grandfather n I were shocked. To think Hershel is still in pro sports is insane. Fighting in mma at his age never lifted weights and only did pushups n sit-ups, had speech problems n made fun of as a kid. Now he’s knocking out 20 year olds in pro fights lol

    He was also "huge" for a corner. Especially at the time he played. He's 6'2. Which in today's game is still big, but there are more corners at that height. He also ran a 4.3. Hell of an athlete

    • @Entrepreneur-ish2023
      @Entrepreneur-ish2023 3 роки тому +24

      He was also drafted to MLB while he was in college. People slept on him because he’s white, but he also had a 40” vert to go with that 4.3 40. Before he hurt his knee, many were giving him a Rod Woodson comp.

    • @Entrepreneur-ish2023
      @Entrepreneur-ish2023 3 роки тому +15

      Just to clarify, both Woodson and Sehorn played safety in college but were moved to CB in the NFL because of their outstanding size and athleticism. Woodson, as we know is an HoF 🐐…. Sehorn had potential but was slower to develop (trouble handling double moves and tracking the ball). Had he not wrecked his knee, he was on a trajectory to be a Pro Bowl regular. However, I didn’t mean to imply that he was on Rod Woodson’s level…. Only the position switch and measurables were comps.

      Far from the only. The Washington Redskins/Football Team/Commanders (the "Team of the South" until the Cowboys arrived in 1960) were the last team to fully integrate -- in 1962 -- so there had to be white CBs back in the 1950s and before.

      @Zalis116 Actually I take that back, 2 seasons ago the Washington football team had a white CB named Troy Apke, also back in the 2016 2017 season the NE Patriots had a white wide receiver named Julian Edelman and lined him up at CB for a few games to fill in for the Pats after some injuries to the secondary. I'm sure there have been others but not that I know of
