I like the snow elves of Skyrim, they’re appearance is so strange yet beautiful. Their sun religion was also very beautiful to me, their fall into literal darkness upsets me as I’m sure their magical talent was unparalleled
@@kiltedwarriorgaming fingers crossed some of the snow elves survived unscathed by the Dwemer, Mia’q says that the disappearance has nothing to do with their blindness but maybe if they saw the Dwemer zero sum, their eyes were destroyed like how when you read an elder scroll? Perhaps some snow elves fled to escape this
There is still much we don’t know about what happened between the two races, most of what we have are secondary sources. But on the other hand, M’aiq is the devs talking to us so he maybe on to something. Goodness I need to do a video on who M’aiq might be and all the things he hints at. 🤔
I know I will get flack for this but I love love love the High Elves and how they have so much unnecessary pride in themselves. Love to play them and love to listen to their snide remarks and the Aldmeri Dominion still reigns supreme in my heart.
High Elves are still great. Role playing wise they are great for Paladins and loremaster builds. I did have an Aldmeri Dominion Knight build that became an imperial defector and yes Skyrim’s Altmer Legion Legate is the coolest one.
Agreed. Though I like Skyrim’s more serious Bosmer, i will always have fond memories of Morrowind/Oblivion Bosmer voice acting. Plus with the Oblivion Troll hair, priceless.
Great choice. I totally forgot about them, would love to see them get more lore. I always have loved the idea of Elven sword masters fighting the Yokudan masters. Also more lore about Yokuda is always good.
My best race are the Dwemer. How they had such an advanced civilization, and how they venerated logic and wisdom. Makes me wonder what they discovered and what other amazing artifacts lie lost and forgotten. I believe it was a dragon break as it would explain the conflicting accounts of the war but also the displacement theory also holds water as well. I would like ES6 to have a Dwemer centred story line like Morrowind. More Dwemer lore is always good and I wondered what happened to the Black Heart.
Agreed, the Dwemer are quite unique. I always liked fantasy dwarfs but Elder scrolls really runs with the technologically advanced engineers and drops the traditionalist vibe dwarfs tend to have. It simply makes them more interesting and yes we need more Dwemer artefacts, hopefully linked into the main story in ES6 as there is so much they could do with the Dwemer, even if they don’t bring them fully back. I hope some other Dwemer like Yagrum, even if not many return as it would fit with all possibilities happening due to a dragon break with the caveat that most Dwemer did die or are otherwise indisposed.
favourite elf race has to either the Altmer or Dunmer, with a definite leaning towards Altmer... every single character in ESO I have is Aldmeri Dominion, and about half of them are all Altmer... > Most of my characters are also mage based. Ayrenn would truly be rolling in her grave with what the Thalmor are getting up to in the 4th Era. Dunmer are because they're just so deep and interesting, which leads them a very close second. As for theories on the Dwemer's disappearance, I can't say I have any in particular, but I am kinda hoping ESO's Necrom chapter might hold some hints. It's the perfect time for it with the Dwemer presence in Morrowind and the exploration of Apocrypha
ESO Dominion do have a great aesthetic and there is something very regal about true Altmer. One of my favourite mage builds is a wise Altmer Sage who admires the other races.
Same here, they became my favourite elves, which is not easy with Dunmer about. Nothing like easy going elves that will fight by your side against any enemy and then eat your corpse to honour the friendship you once shared.
When I started playing Morrowind again last year, the first thing I noticed is everyone was calling me a s’wit and n’wah. The classic Morrowind experience that.
Only one member of race known to be alive and they’re still great. Yagrum did the hard carry for his race and he delivered. Writers did a great job with the Dwemer that’s for sure. They might be my favourite non-playable race.

Agreed. There are a fascinating race, I really feel bad for Gelebor. Would love to play a Snow Elf Paladin with sun focussed magic.

Nazi
Oh boy, more lore! Fave elves are the Bosmer. I love their goofy-ness. Also their creation story is cool.
Agreed. Though I like Skyrim’s more serious Bosmer, i will always have fond memories of Morrowind/Oblivion Bosmer voice acting. Plus with the Oblivion Troll hair, priceless.
Favourite Elves have got to be the Sinestral/"Lefthanded" Elves formerly of Yokuda. I just wish there was more to know 🫤

Favorite Elven Race: Bosmer, cuz they are Bosmer :D

watching these makes me less of a s'wit

YOU N'WAH!
My Morrowind loving brain considers it a compliment now. So I’m flattered. But yes I am a filthy N’WAH!
The Dunmer and everyone knows why.
Because their love of versatile profanity is legendary.
My Favorite race of Elves is,Come on...😂
Isn't it obvious?
They’re one of the coolest tbh, their quality of craftsmanship is amazing and beyond magical. I like they’re robots the best

Very true, I have always thought they were the most unique take on fantasy dwarfs.
