The UA-cam algorithm isn’t my friend SEAN, because I actually do everything wrong on UA-cam 😂 no regular videos, no special content, etc. But filmmaking is still my passion 😍 best cinematic greetings from 🇩🇪
I agree. Same problem here. UA-cam is a great free distribution platform with a huge potential audience, but filmmakers need to forget the algorithm and all conventional advice, and that’s the trick. Go find your own audience and UA-cam will eventually figure you out, but it’s never going to be your friend unless you make what it wants, in which case Sean’s advice is good.
Greetings from Switzerland, beginner Videographer here. I subscriebed your Channel ;)
Talk about over-delivering... Joy to the World as the BGM in your video in June. Nice!... And the message is super-concise and well delivered. This video just keeps on giving. Thanks, Sean.
This was a masterclass in using your own advice in the video itself. Well done Sean 👏
Always great information thanks,
As always Sean fantastic. I always write down each point from your videos to help retain the info! Keep hammering.
I appreciate that! Really cool the points are so valuable to you!
Subscribed! Good information to know! Thanks.
Thanks mate! Going to apply these to my new batch of video’s!
Thanks mate. Great video.
You've been helping me edit and story tell since I've started youtube. Much love from Indiana USA.
That’s awesome to hear I could help!
Thanks for the help man 👍
I wish you guys luck with growing your channels
Super good tips. Definitely going to apply these with all of my videos moving forward! 🙌🏽
Fantastic, as always!
Nice. And thank you.
Great info bro Thanks.
Unplugging and deconstructing the How To process is powerful for learners in any format. Good stuff mate.
such great tips!!😁
Appreciate the video !
Nice step by step process you demonstrated here
Loving all your videos brother, getting lost of awesome value out of them. chur
Sean always delivering the sauce
I'll be applying these lessons in my next video, and creating a better piece of content
Thanks as always
Great video filled with excellent tips on audience retention. Thanks for sharing.
Such a pleasure. Glad you found the tips useful!
Thank you for your suggestions, I have a new channel and I am struggling but I won't give up!
thanks for great sharing 😍😍👏👏
I just started uploading about 2 weeks ago. This is super inspiring! Thank you 🤩🤩 just waiting to take the plunge on long form 😅
I like these videos....Don't now whether I'm biased because I'm a long time watcher or whether the information just makes perfect sense.
tHanks for posting!
Great useful advice. However, as creators we've had to basically shift our filmmaking/script process due to the over saturation of other creators, as well as a generation who's attention span dwindles by the second.
Before, I remember having a laid back, open ended scripts that would do well and provide effective engagement.
Nowadays, we essentially must plan and write a thesis to present to the UA-cam board of viewers.
For channels starting out sure, it can be a useful skill in learning to develop and implement, but for the average person wanting to create, the bar has been set high.
You are definitely doing your part, and providing clear concise advice, and I'm sure that came with years of experience as you've shown.
Just sharing my thoughts, God bless.
great info, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
thank you so much
Absolute gem of a video
I just want to sit in front of the camera and talk 😅But I will make sure to follow your 5 steps 🙏
Great tips in the video 👍🏻 do you have a link for the mic you’re using ?
That light😅😅! Cheers from Bahia Asuncion BCS Mexico
Great info!
Some of this is difficult to implement when the videos are about finding snakes.
I never know what or how each video works out... ya can't plan on natures cooperation.
I guess you could at least have an outline odea of how you want the thumbnail to look. Like an action shot, text only, text with pic of you. Just like general ideas?
@@TheDistortionPrinciple oh for sure... but the challenge is to get good images of the wild snakes. I solo 98% of the tile so me in the shot is difficult. Wild critters do what they want... when they want... no matter how famous I want them to be! 🤣
Haha yeah sounds super tricky to be honest but yeah at least a topic or knowing the title of a video is a good idea like @thedistortionprinciple mentioned. I have a video coming out on story telling for UA-cam videos I think might help you out as well!
@@seankitching ok great. I’ll be on the lookout for it.
While great information I find the most difficult part is executing all the recommendation in the script, video content captured and making sure it all fits together in the final video. I have only created 30 videos and I still have a tough time getting all the pieces to align. Many times when I am editing and putting the video together I have to go back into the field and recapture a clip to make the story work. I love the process and keep learning. Thanks for all the help!
Thanks for this information and insight of YT video creation for staying on top of this game 😂
Great piece
Which of the course give me access to you for support
What mic are you holding?
Watching with interest as it seems the algorithm has just "read my mind", again
anyone know when this video starts?
Love your sound do you mind me asking what kind of mic that is ?
The links don’t show this cute little hand held that seems like it lets you move around
@@cravetheplanetit’s a rode wireless mic!
Guys 🎉Keep Grinding and never stop ✋️
I mean it ! The minute you do ! You lose it
I promise i will hit my goals with this channel: hard work, dedication, and determination! You can, too
My brain trying to process applying these principles to off-road action videos…💨
Haha I have a story telling for yt videos coming soon, I think it will be more applicable
First like and view from India🇮🇳
Это очень круто однако
All my views are from the algorithm trying to decide what my videos are actually about.
❤❤❤
If UA-cam doesn't like you, they put you on a very short leash. If they like you, they promote you. If you're in between, then you're at the mercy of the algorithm! 🤣
My hats off to youtube video creator people. I, for one, could never do this as a way to monetize. Its seems to stressful, having to spend sooooo much time on the entire video creation from writing to publishing..... And then onto the next one. Way too much.l for me. Either way, my hats off.
hehe I need to learn this. My last video got 22 views in the first week😉
Gotta start somewhere. Keep learning keep growing 😉
Love from Pakistan
Great advice but I can’t help but feel like this kind of thinking is why UA-camrs get burnt out so quickly. You lose the passion and get bogged down by hitting an algorithm.
If you only make content about making content, can you really call yourself a content creator?
Make=create. The answer is in the first line of your question. 🙏✌️
Who noticed that this very video you are watching uses every technique mentioned in the video itself ;)
I have been trying to grow for 6 months and nothing works:)
It took me almost 3 years to monetize my channel, it takes years and years of learning and understanding the algorithm, and building a solid audience can't be achieved in such short period of time, everyone's journey is different, you just gotta keep going and making high value content for a specific audience and you'll see results soon 🙏
I recommend looking at your channel’s thumbnails next to Kitching’s thumbnails as a starting point.
If you were a seccessful entrepreneur, and sold on amazon and walmart, you should know something about marketing. Why arent you doing what worked befor with your youtube? Marketing is putting something infront of someone. Whether its products or content the strategies are the same.
not validified....I think u mean validated ;)
