I have no idea why I never skipped these trailers whenever I rewatched Twister again and again as a kid, but I guess I really liked em. Maybe fast forwarding on vhs was a lot more trouble than I remember.
Brings me back to my childhood years of the 90s
The Taz cartoon segment was awesome on surround sound
3:33 I used to love the THX logo as a kid. My parents had just bought a Dolby Pro-Logic surround system (made by Sony, I think) right around the time we got Twister on tape. This part (and the actual movie) sounded phenomenal.
I remember watching the Twister movie on VHS since the year 2009, and now on TV, since ABC Family aired it. : )
How old were you?
@@elevatoralarmcoasterandarc1214 I was 12 years old in 2009. 😀
The nostalgia is Real
History.
I remember that my Mom and I go to the library to see the VHS tapes, Dad.

Only thing I wish they would've taken from the VHS is the Taz and Bugs segment...

Bill Paxton was a great actor in "Twister" movie. : ) We all missed him. : (
This is one of my favorite movies and has a kick ass soundtrack

That trailer first is originally the first nba movie. That right now is going to be the new space jam the new legacy.
After searching months for this vhs tape I finally found it I almost cried lol but I’m not joking I love this vhs
This is the last VHS Tape that has the 1986 Warner home video logo
There was a special feature on the end of the Twister VHS tape that wasn't included on the DVD version.
I agree!
Yeah, that was the FEMA promo...
3:23. I think Bugs Bunny found out that the THX logo is coming up shortly or he’s surprised that the movie this segment was used for is given the PG-13 rating. 😂😂😂
0:10 almost gave me a seizure
The best tornado 🌪️ ever made
I Like Twister Movie that Looks Great Movie
3:44 one of the last 90's THX certified tapes to use the E key Deep Note.
So 90s my childhood
I wonder if they made an AVON print of Twister.
@3:54 Still remember that opening like I saw it yesterday. For some reason... that is the scene I remember first seeing that sticks with me to this day. That darkness, that growl of the tornado in the opening title, the wind. Still sticks except now I've been witness to a real tornado.
It comes across as almost unexpected for me, despite watching this film countless times, from the shift of Looney Tunes to that is quite unverving and exciting.
@@arkfounder7056 Totally remember that loony toons thing. Still have my VHS and original disk copy. Bought a blue ray 2 disk edition I now use instead so I wouldn't wear out my original VHS or the original disk from 96'.
Hey you actually is eraser 1996
WTF, THX LOGO!!!!!!!!!!!?????????
Sadly, Twister (though a good, but not great movie) was overshadowed by the story of Sammy Hagar and Van Halen (after the release of the song “Humans Being” on the soundtrack) parting company.
What "Looney Tunes" cartoons is all these scenes in the Taz cartoon segment coming from?
Austin Alexander It's not just one cartoon, I can tell you: as far as I can tell, I can see clips from:
"Devil May Hare" (6-19-54)
"Bedeviled Rabbit" (4-13-57)
"Bill of Hare" (6-9-62)
ClassicTVMan1981X That'll work.
Austin Alexander Thank you.
ClassicTVMan1981X You're welcome.

Twister Has THX Sound
Twister was THX for its VHS, LaserDisc & initial DVD releases.
Because of this movie, I am HORRIFIED of tornadoes. So, this is one of the movies I will NOT buy.
I do like the music, though. It has a couple of good songs by Van Halen.
I this tape has the boring sheild on the slipcover why is the cheesy shield in the tape
Luke Goldston Because The Boring Shield Warner Home Video Logo Wasn't Used On Actual Tapes Until December 30,1996 With The VHS Of A Time Of Kill
