Not sure how many people agree with me, but. You also forgot to mention Darnold is absolutely gonna want to beat the team he was on last year! He is going to play well, very well.

We have a history of getting blown out at home after a big win. This year feels different to me
Ordinarily that's after a big emotional win where we've gone toe to toe for 4 quarters (+OT). This was over midway through the 3rd quarter.

Carl Eller was my first favorite Vikings player from my days watching the Purple People Eaters in the late 60's/early 70's and is still 1 of my top 2 or 3 favorites Vikings of all time

How does the 49ers offense in week one play against the jets defense. Well we know but how do they play against the Vikings awesome defense RIGHT!!! Come on I see great things happen for the Vikings this weekend. Let's not overlook the Vikings Defense.

Hello Gentlemen - I just finished watching a couple NY Giant podcasts (1 with Tiki Barber) and both of them alluded to how bad D. Jones was against the Vikings. The interesting/Scary thought about what they stated was that based on NFL statistics D. Jones had 1 of the top times during the game to pass (eventhought the vikings had 5 sacks), his receivers had 1 of the top seperation gaps when running their routes, how they could clearly see D. Jones was AFRAID to through the ball downfield, taking too much time to make decisions, making the incorrect reads etc.
IF the information they provided is accurate, then my friends there is a VERY Good chance that the Vikings will get torched sunday by the niners. Yes, the vikings (HOPEFULLY will get their act together) obviously have reviewed the game film. However, does this Actually mean they will be able to do something about it???
Yes, it was the first game. Yes, as mentioned they will review the mistakes they got away with. Yes, they will make adjustments to what problems the niners will present. Yes, they probably did NOT show too much of their Defense as it obviously was Not needed. Yes, they KNOW the niners very well, etc.
BUT, lol, IF that 28 - 6 score is TRULY no where near indicative of how good the vikings are OR dare I say HOW BAD the vikings are. IF this is true gentlemen, we just may get SMOKED!!!
You, me and pretty much the entire league knows D. Jones massively sucks right now, especially with the vikings game being his first game back. Heck, look at captain kurt. He SUCKED and he will need MORE time to get things together. YES, anyone with a brain KNOWS that the Giants are probably not that bad (ok, lol, maybe they are). You give DJ time to pass knowing he will beat himself. There was still lots of pressure.
The main thing playing Jones is to stop him from beating you with his legs and out of structure throws. Flores nailed that.
Purdy relies entirely on structure, so it's a completely different approach. Now what that does mean is that success last week means little to nothing about success this week
I want to see Trishton Jackson play if Addison can't go. He may get disrespected and will stretch the field and make them pay!

You guys are -1.3 points (ranked 23) vs an avg team while SF is the best at +6 vs an avg team. It'll even out over the season. 6-7 win team.
SF +6 > Vikes -1.5; 6 - (-1.5)= 7.5; Add 1.5 homefield and the vegas line is +/- 6; Take 1 point off for SF short week and west coast travel to early slate and you get +/- 5 spread.
And that's how Vegas cone up with vegas lines..... Ya aint good. Lmfao
