I always loved this specific exhibition performance because I felt like the pro-North American crowd finally got to see what we skating fans have been seeing all along. The audience ate this performance up and I hope that Elena and Anton finally felt the love that the audience was capable of giving. I also think it's quite clear in this performance that Elena and Anton were truly something special.
I loved this team. Something very special about them.

Yes they are pretty and perfect pair as many others. However, No matter how perfect you are all through the year, on the day of final exam, you can't make mistakes. They would have accepted an honestly judged Silver, but too bad their Olympic moment was marred by some crooked puppeteering of corrupt judges. However, in the process, the event paved way to further exposing failures of grading systems, and making necessary changes to make the sport as credible as possible. 2014 showed biases and favoritism in judging again, so it's still work in progress.
@@Zinnie988 nope sorry pro candadian fan jamie and David failed to skate a difficult and complex program like anton and elena did and that's why they didn't deserve to win. jamie and David knew the only way they could skate cleanly was with a simple, junior program like their sp and love story unlike anton and elena who actually skate a difficult, complex, detail-filled program also completing the elements. anton and elena's perfect short program is why they won.
